I didn't remark on Alex being non-white in his blurb but he is rumored to be half-Vietnamese, which given the nature of the book (spoilers) points to his status as half-white being a reasonable assumption. I also wanted to give some writing tips and common tropes surrounding psychosis (mad oracles come to mind), but I suppose that must wait for another day.
