I’d love to see them!! <3 ☼ IBIS PAINTX is a free mobile digital art program that can be found on the App Store! A lot of the brushes I use here are free! ☼ NOTE: this tutorial isn’t how to draw in “my art style” but to help you get the general points on how to ENHANCE your art skills!! Practice makes satisfaction! ☼ The characters here are Littlepaw (left) and Redpaw (right) from my new animated series Counting Pebbles! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/873765257/ ☼ STEPS: ☼ 1. simple sketch 2. this is the sketch brush I use 3. a more detailed sketch 4. turn the opacity down, but not so much so that you can see it! 5. Line art goes one layer OVER the sketch layer, then hide/delete your sketch once you have lines done 6. this is my lineart brush 7. and this is my coloring brush 8. I color the whole thing in by hand and not with the bucket tool because the brush has some bumps and such so if I use bucket it will have MANY little white spots, that we don’t want. 9. Alpha lock makes coloring MUCH easier! 10. the brush I use for actual coloring 11. Freckle brush 12. Close up. 13. Final color 14. Stripe brush 15. Shading colors 16. Shading layout 17. Where the shading layer goes and it’s opacity 18. Final shade 19. Eye glare 20. Turn its opacity down 39. Final hard light 40. Big shading color 41. Shading layout 42. Turn opacity down 43. Final shading 44. Light overlay 45. Turn opacity down and put above hard light layer 46. Final overlay 47. Add small light particles 48. Hide all of your layers except color and lineart 49. Like this! 50. Color lineart prep! 51. Like this! 52. Bring everything back! 53. Like this! 54. Sparkle prep 55. Make them a light color 56. Make them very small 57. Add them everywhere, mostly where the light is 58. Purple lighting prep 59. Add like this 60. Turn opacity down 61. Watermark/sign it and you’re done! 62. FINAL RESULT!!
