royal (used in europe): 1) king (his majesty) 2) queen (her majesty) + crown prince (his royal highness) 3) princesses, second princes, and other royal relatives (usually they choose their own title from here. a common one is "their grace," "my lord," "my liege," or "my lady") 4) archduke (usually in areas like austria. they normally have a higher ranking than other dukes) 5) dukes/duchesses 6) viscounts/viscountesses + marquises/margraves 7) barons/baronesses 8) low-ranking royals---ones with connection to other royals (besides the king/queen) + son of barons 9) knights (sir or dame) 10) commoners/peasants 11) slaves
imperial (used in asia) 1) emperor (his imperial majesty) 2) empress (her imperial majesty) 3) legitimate sons (his imperial highness) 4) illegitimate sons (most daughters have a ranking among the lowest concubines, and most illegitimate are...forcibly taken away). 5) concubines (though different concubines have different rankings. any concubine that has a son, though he will be illegitimate, will be higher ranking than the other concubines) 6) nobles; it's kind of vague but mostly people appointed by the emperor to have land 7) high military officer + high scholar (both must have noble backgrounds, only one each) 8) military officers + scholars (has a better chance of making it if has noble background) 9) merchants 10) peasants 11) slaves this is off the top of my head, so feel free to add some things. add credit please!
