Welcome to my scrolling parallax about the bayou! ← Arrow keys to navigate → This summer I had the pleasure of taking a fanboat ride through the bayou. If you're not familiar with the bayou, it's a swampy region where the Mississippi river meets the gulf of Mexico down in Louisiana. It's full of all kinds of wildlife, alligators especially! I was shocked to find out that swamps are actually really beautiful! The crazy thing about going out on the bayou is riding on a fanboat. It's simple a boat with a gargantuan fan on the back. The fan is so loud you have to wear noise canceling earphones! These kinds of boats are just so cool and glide right over all kinds of swampy muck with ease.
