Made by FindingPepper3 This is Paper Minecraft in Scratch! It works (mostly) the same as the real game, but in 2D. This is original, not copied from Griffpatch's. Looking to make your own Paper Minecraft? Get started with this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEeMRpl6b1jH02YHRow3y3vhCGZlCYx5S To all of you who don't read instructions: That's fine, but if you're confused, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Please don't scream about it in the comments. That said, if you find a bug, you can scream about it in the comments. CONTROLS: WASD: Move/Jump Space: Jump Click: Place block/interact/attack Click and hold: Destroy block Scroll/Numbers/Click: Change selected item/block S: Descend through semisolid ground E: Open inventory Space: Split stack (in inventory) Q: Throw item F: Eat food K: Save L: Load SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS: - To use a crafting table, furnace, or chest, open your inventory while standing in front of it. - Due to technical issues, furnaces do not take time to smelt. Instead, just put your fuel in like normal and take the result out like you would from a crafting table. The better the fuel, the more items it will smelt. - You can differentiate air from other materials in the pitch black. It will appear slightly lighter (although the difference is very slight in the night) - Planks, wool, and a few other blocks are "semisolid" which mean they can be stood on but also walked through. - To get colored wool, dye sheep, then shear them. ADDITIONS: These things are not in the real game: - Polished tuff (crafted from four blocks of tuff) edit: nvm now its in the game - Tuff stairs/slabs - Fried egg (smelt an egg) - Christmas chest (hint: the recipe contains ores to give it the red and gold color) - Planks with torches or ladders, for use as backgrounds (craft a torch/ladder with planks) - Green dye recipe (yellow + blue = green, why is this not in Minecraft?) - Carrots can be found growing wild in plains biomes (because there are no villages) CREDITS: Code is mostly by me Exceptions include the tile scrolling engine and save code scripts, which are by Griffpatch. Light physics are partially based on Griffpatch's light flow project. Art and sounds are copyright Mojang Studios. SAVE CODES: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/770122/?page=1#post-8041573
