A very old game that's been hanging around in my files. I don't think I'm going to finish it, so have this very basic game :') I didn't get very far in it at all; I didn't get past the tutorial. I think I was redrawing some of it the last time I worked on it, too. The premise of Still Soul was that the main character was hard of hearing and after they lose their parents in a c̶r̶y̶s̶t̶a̶l̶ accident, they learn to survive in the wild on their own. It was a survivor/life sim kind of game. T̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶Y̶e̶l̶l̶o̶w̶ ̶X̶ ̶s̶h̶e̶n̶a̶n̶i̶g̶a̶n̶s̶ ̶g̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶o̶n̶ All dialogue was replaced with symbols, to represent how the main character interpreted the world/sign language(?). I also planned to name every sprite after how the main character saw it - their sprite being named "Me", their mother named "Mom", etc. There's even music in the game, but turned down to 1% volume to represent the MC's hearing. You can still hear the music if you turn up your device volume REALLY loud. Anyways, in essence I was just having fun with mechanics. There isn't much to look at in the project, but I hope like it in some way anyway.
