What would you want at a cat cafe? -What are Cat cafes? Cat cafes (or at least the ones I’m familiar with) are places to drink and eat snacks while playing and snuggling with cats. There’s usually an age limit, special events, spaces for cats to hide, toys, beds, seating, and cozy decorations and much more. -Why am I asking? I’m hoping to open a cat cafe near my home, as there aren’t any in the area and it would be a source of money as well as a place to open up space in Animal Shelters. I want to know what people would like to make it enjoyable for a wide variety of people. We want a good customer experience while ensuring the cats safety and well-being. -What am I thinking about? I’m hoping for a Japanese (I am Japanese American) and maybe a cozy bookstore thing. There’s going to be a staff-only room cats can access for privacy and where we can care for the cats without intruding on customers. We probably will just have a few snacks, and it won’t be prepared there (probably just some snacks we but) for sanitary reasons. Please tell me some ideas and suggestions you have in the comments!
