Make a cardboard cut-out of your own Doll-E. Then paint new costumes and program the three sprites to show what Doll-E 1.0 can do. Start the action by green flag + holding the cut-out inside green square (uses color sensing or motion sensing -- you choose!). Then "tap" on each Doll-E sprite. Finally, have your own dance party with all three sprites!
Inspired by the book Doll-E 1.0 by Shanda McCloskey and by the Tinkering Studio's "Bring a Book to Life" projects. Includes code from "Interactive Storybook Animations Using Video Sensing" by @sciartistceleste. The activity is suggested for students ages 9-11 using starter projects. Enjoy!
