I'm @xXSerenadeXx also known as Puddle! I'm a bird-and-plant-obsessed-teen who uses he/him pronouns. My favorite video games are The Long Dark and Animal Crossing. For the former, I love the desolate, lonely atmosphere of being trapped in an endless winter while combating the perils of mother nature and for the latter, I love the care-free vibe and charm that Animal Crossing absolutely exudes. My favorite television show is The Walking Dead (and my favorite character from twd is Negan) because I love stories that focus on character development that comes (mostly) without characters with plot-armor. Morally questionable/gray characters are some of my favorites- which you can probably tell by Serenadelark's current arc. My favorite movie is Monsters University because it conveys the message of ‘sometimes you’re incapable of achieving your dream, but that doesn't mean you're unworthy of finding happiness in an adjacent path' which is /such/ a crucial message to learn, as I've come to realize as I grow up. I run competitively, partake in various clubs, volunteer for my community, and enjoy spending time with friends! I hold an officer position in one of my clubs and have experience working with people both through a screen and in-person. I play bass guitar for my school band and love playing music! I have thirty chickens, two pheasants, one turkey, and a dog! I have been writing since I was in kindergarten and have been participating in writing contests ever since for my own enjoyment. Writing has been a hobby for as long as I can remember, and I'd love to find a way to make it into a career for myself in the future! ii ♪ My TFCRP ‘Career’ I first joined TFCRP in 2018, so I would consider myself to be a veteran of the rp. My first character was Pheasantfur of ShadowClan who I role-played from 2018-2019. During the late spring/early summer of 2019 there was a ton of change in my life and there were more important things for younger me to focus on, which led to me leaving TFCRP. During my years away from TFCRP, I grew a ton as both a person and as a writer. I emotionally matured, learned how to deal with copious amounts of stress, and really just became a happier, more stable person. I joined TFCRP with Wildcrown on March 28th, 2022, on an evening while I was feeling particularly nostalgic. Rejoining TFCRP made me remember how much fun improvising and growing a character alongside other people's characters really was. I decided that I wanted a character to commit to, so I started applying for litters. After not winning many, and getting back up for one, I had finally won Serenadekit from Mage's litter. Serenadelark was adopted by Shoalcry on July 5th, 2022 and is the character I've had ever since. My goal is to have Serenadelark until she reaches max age, which means I'm planning on having her for a couple more good years. My activity has been 8-9/10 consistently. Since rejoining in March, I haven't gone inactive without notice and I haven't gone on a hiatus for longer than three days. The occasional hiatuses I do take are mostly to give myself a breather to work on other things for a while because I don't want to get burnt out on role-playing! yes, I have chaos
iii ♪ About Being an Admin There are many people in this rp who'd love to be an admin helper and I'm sure you're wondering why I'd be the best pick out of all of them. One reason is my experience with the many different stages of TFCRP. My first character was around during WindClan's second leader, and my current character's living under WindClan's eighth leader- I've spoken to, role-played with, and interacted with many people from the many ‘generations’ of TFCRP. It's crucial for an admin helper to be able to communicate their point to role-players of a variety of experience, which is a skill I have developed and mastered because of activity in a plethora of generations of this rp. I'm a patient person though I'm not afraid to tell people off when they're consciously doing something destructive. For an rp to be fun, it has to have interesting and dramatic things going on. Oftentimes these interesting and dramatic things are developed in-rp, but sometimes they need a little push. Which leads me to my next point, I /love/ planning events!! Coming up with ideas is my jam and I'd love to be able to more easily get my ideas to the rest of the WindClan admin team. I have early drafts of a winter event I was planning on presenting to the WC admin team (but never ended up presenting). The event went: the jackrabbits moved to the southern half of WindClan's map because of the cold which would force the cats to relocate to a secondary seasonal camp. There would be rolls done by warriors weekly that would add certain buffs and debuffs (a litter automatically getting into the nursery because cats are fed and healthy, characters who attended a certain patrol getting frostbite, etc.). Here's a link to the rough draft: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/869093825/ If I were to become an admin helper, I'd be more than happy to make more events like the one I was drafting up last year by aiding in making it a reality. I love TFCRP dearly and I would be overjoyed to help someone fall in love with it as well through a fun or intense event. I unfortunately do not have experience being an admin of an rp and do not actively participate in other warrior cat role-plays. I do think this has an advantage, though. TFCRP is my biggest focus when it comes to warrior cat role-playing so it’d never be a juggling act when it comes to managing multiple role-plays at once. I /do/ have experience in an admin-like role in real life, though. I'm the Reporter of my school's FFA chapter. In this position I'm contacting other chapters, reaching out to organizations to get more hands-on experiences for the members of my chapter, posting on the chapter's social media, speaking to students in my school both virtually and face-to-face, and I also help quell debates between members before they go too far. I’m also a mentor at my school. My job when I’m a mentor is to talk to the kids just entering middle school and teach them how to manage classes, help them if they’re struggling with homework, make sure they’re doing okay mentally and much more. I have a lot of experience talking to people younger than me which is a good skill for an admin helper to have. I have experience being in a position of power and I have no doubt that I'd be able to handle my responsibilities properly, politely, and punctually. I do have a Chaos. When I apply for something, I am promising to be committed to whatever I'm applying for. I can assure you that if I'm given the opportunity to be WindClan's admin helper I will do everything in my power to do my part and help this amazing rp filled with amazing role-players and staff, running smoothly! iv ♪ Codewords I absolutely love going swimming on a hot summer day! I was out on a walk the other day and saw some apples growing on an apple tree as well as some lady-slippers growing in the woods. v ♪ Closing Statement All in all, I’m absolutely thrilled to be presented the opportunity to apply to be a WindClan admin helper. I’m sure that if I was to be selected for this position, I’d handle it with both the dignity and respect it demands. Thank you for reading my application!!
