Press the flag. Click the stage or space. Full screen recommended. The underlined parts are her thoughts or the ghosts words. Scratch does not have an italicize button. Also, on some screens the text may go slightly over the edge. I tried to fix it several times but it won't work for all screens. I'm sorry about that, hopefully it's still readable and you can still enjoy it. DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE READ THE ENTIRE SERIES AND THE STORY! You have been warned... Yes, I do have a tendency to knock characters out. I HAD to name it that even though they're not quite sure who it is. I knew I wanted to write a story about a fire ghost and that I wanted it to happen between The Creeping Shadow and The Empty Grave. Though I wanted it to be a type three I decided otherwise or else it wouldn't match up with the timeline and the events so I left it up to the reader to decide its type. I've written lots of things before, just not too much action but I tried my best. Unfortunately I couldn't have anything else too major happen because of the time but I like the period I chose anyway. I chose it because there was still a major ghost problem and Holly & Lucy didn't hate each other as much. I wanted the ending to be slightly similar to the ending of the Empty Grave, it turned out ok. Not half as good as Jonathan Stroud's amazing, terrible, heart wrenching, oh-no-its-not-supposed-to-end-yet ending, but too bad. Comment on what you like about it!
#Lockwoodfanficcontest23 The story, character and so on belong to Jonathan Stroud, author of the all amazing Lockwood & Co.
