I've been eyeing the Sundial rp for a while, especially since it's run by my friend Mio, so when I saw this litter, I was really excited! Now, onto my application <3 ... ⮱ “ for the first time in my life, for the first time in my life, ” ⮲ ... ⯎ About Me ⯌ My user is @Pawdcoin, but most people call me Paw or Pine! ⯌ I love to draw, write, sing, and read, and I have a love for roleplaying and silly battle kitties <3 I'm also a huge music fan- currently I'm into Paramore, The Crane Wives, and The Family Crest! My favorite colors are seafoam green, lilac, and coral, and my favorite animal is (big surprise) cats! I go by he / she / they / fae / it / xe pronouns although any pronouns are honestly fine lmbo, and I'm both genderfae and cassflux! Annnnd there's not much else to know about me lol, I'm just a nerd on the internet who draws cats and comes up with way too many stories xD ⯌ I'm applying for Ladybug! ⯌ I've been rping in TFCRP as Veilglimpse for about a year now, but I've dabbled in other warrior cats rps in the past. (i was never too active though, rip- tfcrp is the first rp i've been in long-term!) ⯌ I've never rped in Sundial before, but I've seen it around through Mio! I've always been interested, and this is a chance for me to join in on the fun! ⯌ mm, that's a tough question! I've only ever really been in tfcrp, so I'm not sure how managing 2 different characters will be for me! I definitely intend on keeping Ladybug for at least 20-30 moons, but if having 2 characters is too stressful for me, I might have to drop Ladybug after that for the sake of my mental health </3 This isn't the plan though, and I really really want to keep Ladybug until he's at least 50 moons!! ... ⮱ “ gonna get it wrong before I get it right, ” ⮲ ... ⯎ About Ladybug ⯌ Ladybug will be genderfrithen and will use she / he / vir pronouns! Vi will also be omnisexual and omniromantic, with a masc lean. ( 50% m, 30% f, 20% nb/other ) She'll discover that she's genderfluid spec in the middle of her training and start using any pronouns. Once he's a warrior, he'll realize that he's genderfrithen and will settle into she / he / vir. Vi'll come out as pan early in vir training but will find out that vi's omni around when vi begins using any pronouns :] (the final gender / orientation will stay the same, but the timeline is subject to change- this is just an outline) ⯌ Personality ⯎ Positives ⇢ determined, devoted, selfless ⯎ Neutrals ⇢ cynical, stubborn, modest ⯎ Negatives ⇢ self-doubting, antisocial, rebellious ⯌ Detailed Personality ⯎ Ladybug is a cat who refuses to let the others change who she is. He's not gullible- in fact, quite the opposite, as he scrutinizes and judges every rule, belief, thought and opinion he comes across. Vi is always spotting problems and injustices around vir, and will not rest until the issues in vir society have been amended. Because of this, she can be quite rebellious, often denying the validity of rules or commonly-held beliefs if vi finds them to be nonsensical or harmful in any way. Hey, and why do we worship these spirit cats, anyways? Don't they /haunt/ people!? Surely there's some way to rid ourselves of them. Plus, how do they even know the future? And how do we know they're right? Do we just... follow them blindly? I don't know who they are. /You/ don't know... and I think you see where I'm going with this. Because the cats around her often hold incorrect, ridiculous, or problematic beliefs in her eyes, Ladybug often finds herself avoiding those she doesn't know or trust. This antisocial behavior leads Ladybug to seem rather standoffish, and he consequently has a hard time making friends or warming up to new people. To the friends vi does have, though, vi's very devoted and extremely loyal. She'll do anything for her loved ones- really, anything- and if something ever happened to them, she'd never forgive herself. Interestingly, this devotion also carries across to Ladybug's various objections to the social norm- objections that he unwaveringly fights for, whether it be through public protests, idle passive-aggressive comments in casual conversation, or outright arguing with his fellow colony members. It doesn't matter what benefits you might think the rules have- once Ladybug's decided that they are wrong, vi will never stop trying to change them. Despite vir confidence in vir opinions, though, Ladybug is actually quite the self-doubter. The same drive that causes her to point out mistakes in the world around her leads her to point out all of her personal mistakes and downfalls, as well. He's constantly beating himself up about small mistakes and trying to improve himself through relentless internal self-deprecation (a strategy which does not work).
While vi may be the world's worst critic, vi's also vir own. This causes Ladybug to be extremely modest, which can be both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand (or paw, hmm?), he remains true to himself without getting an inflated sense of ego. On the other hand, vi often underestimates vir abilities and has a hard time promoting virself. Ladybug tends to overlook her own positive traits, as well- such as her selflessness. In fact, Ladybug is more than willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of others- even mere strangers- if he thinks it's the right thing to do. It's something she would do in a heartbeat, without a second thought. After all, for all of vir cynicism, unapproachability, and stubborn tendencies, vi ultimately means well and only wants to change the world for the better. ⯌ Ladybug will have Vasovagal syncope, triggered at the sight of blood, when feeling extremely overwhelmed (by fear, stress, etc.), or when extremely exhausted. When in these situations, Ladybug will feel nauseous, dizzy, and lightheaded. Vi will get tunnel vision, and vi will feel a warmth under vir pelt. Depending on what she is doing and how worked up she is, she may not pay attention to these symptoms until it is too late. Laying down can help to prevent fainting, though, and if Ladybug does notice these feelings coming on, he'll definitely try that. I've never done research for a litter application before, and this is my second litter application I've ever written, so I figured this might be good practice, even if I don't win- so what's there to lose? :D ⯌ I feel that I would be a good roleplayer for Ladybug because I'm very invested in writing out detailed personalities for my characters and letting their character slowly develop! I adore thinking out reasoning for all of my character's decisions and letting them live their own little lives. Plus, I've never gone entirely inactive from scratch for longer than 2 weeks, so there shouldn't be any problems on that end, either. That being said, I have no illusions of being the perfect roleplayer for Ladybug- if you find someone else that is more deserving, I have nothing but congratulations and well-wishes for them :D ⯌ Trivia ⯎ Ladybug's favorite nickname is Ady (ah-dee), and while she'd use it frequently for herself, she'd only allow family and close friends to use it for her. She hates 'Lady' as a nickname, though, and she'll only tolerate 'Bug' if she really likes you. ⯎ While he's an apprentice, Ladybug might have a few dreams of becoming a healer due to an affinity for plants. However, vir vasovagal syncope makes this an impossible dream, and vi settles for keeping a little personal garden. ⯎ Ladybug will collect seeds through gathering berries, fruits, nuts, or dried flower heads, and will bury them in a little plot of ground just outside camp. He'll bring them water soaked moss every other day; he just adores taking care of the little lives. If one dies/looks like its dying, she'll be very distraught for an entire moon :sob: ⯎ Ladybug's favorite time of day is early morning, when you can see the dawn light and feel the brisk air, but no one else is awake.
