NOTE TO SCRATCH TEAM: This game does not feature visual jumpscares, but it does play a lower volume version of the jumpscare SOUND when you lose in game. A and D for Left and Right Doors. Q and E to toggle Door Lights S for the camera. (Or press the button equivalents on Mobile) The Blindside update makes cameras much more useful as you can not see things from the edges of the map. You MUST use the camera to see the animatronics now. (Pre-Flatscreen Version) The Technical Overhaul update made the game almost identical to FNAF 1 code-wise, using a lot of help from a "FNAF 1 Mechanics Explained" video, I made all of the animatronic's movements as accurate as possible to the game, rather than just being on a random timer until they can move like they were before. Newer features of the same update include a title screen with multiple preset nights AND a Custom Night creator, featuring a Golden Freddy easter egg as well! Also includes some achievements just for extra fun! This FLAT version uses the exact AI of One Night in Top Down, but converts it to a cartoony FNAF art style, featuring full screen cameras. This took me about 10 hours to make, so please let me know if there are any bugs, such as frozen cameras (caused by me forgetting to add a picture for that camera) so I can fix it.
Basically a heavily stylized and cartoony Scratch port of FNAF 1, basically 100% accurate to how the original game works. So I was watching this video about how the AI works in FNaF and decided to make a Scratch project with the stuff I learned. And then, after making the Top Down version, I remembered my attempt at making a flat-screen version a few years ago, and decided "well since I already have all the AI programmed, might as well just overlay some camera PNGS on top and blammo, new game, entirely different vibe! Some animation fixes for Freddy. v1.9 (Technical Overhaul Update): Spent about 14 hours straight trying to make this game as accurate to FNaF as possible, many thanks to Tech Rules' "Ruining FNaF by Dissecting the Animatronics' AI" video for explaining the exact mechanics of each character in detail for me to accurately replicate them in this project. Also made the lights drain power Reduced the length of each hour by 5 seconds, making the total night 30 seconds shorter than the actual game. This is to balance out the difficulty of the later nights, and also because this is a Scratch game and I don't want it to last 9 minutes per night. Added the ability to save and load Achievement data Added a Version number for smaller updates Fixed a mistake where the animatronics would increase in difficulty at 1 AM. This is inaccurate to FNAF's programming, and would cause the animatronics to become a higher level by the end of each night than in FNAF 1. Reduced the length of an in-game hour to 80 seconds instead of 90, making each night last 8 minutes instead of 9 Chica and Bonnie play a footstep sound when they approach and leave the door, similar to FNAF HELP WANTED v2.0: Slightly adjusted some tiny details such as animatronic pictures/expressions in Cameras and the poster in the Office when Bonnie or Chica is at the door. Added a Subtitles toggle for people playing without sound, all IMPORTANT sounds are now displayed as text (for example, a Hallway animatronic approaching displays the text "Something approaches" in the subtitle bar) v2.1 Edited Bonnie's movement script to be more accurate to the game, now he can move from Cam 2B to Cam 5 like he can in FNAF 1. Edited Chica's movement script to have a chance to send her back to the Hallway rather than to the Dining Room, accurate to FNAF 1. Fixed bug where Cam 3 was unselectable whenever Foxy was in Stage 3 of his movement.
