" escaping " Quietly, her paws tapped across the cold stone floor, just four gray-white patches in the darkness of the cave. Faer light blue eyes flashed in the dim light of the small crystals, before they disappeared again in the darkness. Faster and faster, her legs carried faer through the cave, straight to the tunnel exit and up to the surface. With a sweep of faer white tail, she was immersed in the tunnel and its shadows. The darkness enveloped faer, but this time it didn't feel quite as bad as usual, almost as if it were a blanket wrapped protectively around her. For moments it was dark, the silence interrupted only by the occasional snoring of the cats left behind, still asleep in the camp, until finally light shone into the tunnel, illuminating the ground in front of faer's paws. She quickened her steps, almost running uphill, until she leapt out of the tunnel into the dim twilight of the territory. Out of breath, fae stood still until her hammering heart calmed. After a few moments, she turned, blinking into the light of the rising sun. A slight smile stole onto her mouth before fae wiped it away, turning to face the sunrise. Briefly, she glanced at the tunnel exit fae had just exited, before turning, and heading on her way. On the way over the canyon, to the sea, in which the sun was already glittering. Fae was Astercharm. And she had a mission to fulfill.
