It was in the middle of the afternoon when the announcements came in. “Attention, all crewmembers of the Skeld. We have spotted a planet a few miles away from us, and we have decided to land there and give you all and the ship a little break. There is currently another crew on the planet, so they will accompany us on our visit. We will land approximately three days from now. The weather there is quite chilly, at a whopping -13° celsius. Make sure to keep warm! Thank you, you may now continue on with your day.” Something new; it’s about time! Rose thought as she wandered down one of the hallways. She stopped in front of Admin when she heard noises coming from there. She peeked in and saw a yellow crewmember and a green crewmember in front of the Card Swipe task. The yellow one had a toolbox with them. “I think the censors are malfunctioning. I’ll take a look and do what I can, I’ll call you back in about 20 minutes,” The yellow crewmember said. The green crewmember nodded and turned to walk off, and saw Rose standing there. “Hi Rose! If you’re going to do the swipe, just know that it’s kinda broken right now. Aureolin’s going to try and fix it,” the crewmember said. “Ah, okay.” Rose replied. Then she and green crewmember parted ways. A few seconds later, she saw the green crewmember again. What… she thought. Didn’t Emerald just go the other way…? She started to get an uneasy feeling, but decided to mind her own business. She started to head to Communications, but saw that the doors were closed. Then they opened. And Rose had the shock of her life. The two crewmates she knew by heart had their lives brutally ripped out of them. ~To be continued~
