hihi i haven't posted in like a month & it's summer so i thought i probs shud post something :] so yeA heres the painting process of a red rose, and it's a gift for my irl friend's bday ♥♥ disclaimer: i started recording/taking pictures of my process like 30 minutes after i started so that's why the first costume is already like nearly done LMAO anyways!! click - space - right/left keys to advance into the project: 1. so this is blurry thats my bad but i 'underpainted' in the rose and the leaves and i started shading the rose starting from the middle and moving my way towards the outside 2. i blocked in the base color for the outer part of the rose :D 3. i started adding deeper shadow colors and started on the leaves 4. i added a gold rim to the rose and i also added highlights and a background!!
