We were playing above the waterfall. Tomo and I splashed each other and ran around being kids. “Bet you can’t catch me!”, Tomo said. I chased him and chased him until I ran out of breath. He kept running even though I gave up. Suddenly, he trips and goes down the waterfall. “Tomo!” I yelled while I cried. I ran up the stream near the waterfall, but it was too late. He had fell down the waterfall. I quickly told the adults and they searched down the waterfall. Tomo was nowhere to be found, and was probably dead. Back at the village, they called me a murderer. I was just 8. I had lost my best friend and the whole village hated me. But, that was just the past. Now I am entering a fancy college leaving everything behind. It was a new step in my life. I can't believe I used to be living in a village! I walk towards the campus feeling accomplished in life. I see May waiting for me. "Hey Kaito!", she yells. I run up to her and hug her tight. "You ready to meet your roomates?", she asks. "Yeah, I guess so." We talk all the way until we reached our dorms. "Let's get coffee later after we settle down!", May suggests. I nod my head and wave goodbye. I was a bit nervous entering my dorm, but I finally had the courage to unlock the dorm room. There was a balcony! I jumped in excitement. This was my new home. I entered one room to see which one I should pick. Suddenely, I saw a guy laying on the bed. He has dark blue hair and brown eyes. "Sorry to bother! I should have knocked!", I say in embarassment. "That's ok! My name is tomo!", He says. No way! This was coincidence! "My name is Kaito!", I respond. We stare at each other in awkardness. He gets out of bed and approaches me. "Do I know you?", he questions. "You do seem familiar!", I say. He hugs me and I tear up. "I know who you are very well!", he says while laughing. "I thought you died!", I cry. He brushes his hand on my face. "Be happy I am here for you!". "I have a bunch of questions!", I say while smiling. Tomo was my childhood friend who I thought died but now is my roommate! This was fate!~ We both giggle and sit on the couch. Just then, another guy entered the room. He has blonde hair and green eyes. "Hey guys! My name is Andrew! I am guessing I am your roommate!". Tomo did not look happy. He held my hand and put on a fake smile. Andrew came and sat next to me. "I love your blue eyes!" He says while smiling. "Thank you so much! I love your green eyes!", I respond. Tomo squeezed my hand and looked at me. Was he jealous? —-------------------------------------- Part 1 is a bit boring because the story just started.
