What is written here is just a brief introduction to this concept, which would be expanded upon if I was to win her. ─────────────── ʜᴏᴡ ᴅᴏᴇs ᴛʜɪs ᴡᴏʀᴋ? At a young age, Luna would gain an interest in stargazing, and begin to identify that sometimes the stars are organized in a way that creates an image- constellations. Curious, she would start to figure out what these constellations look like, and call them different things like "the bear" or "the fox." Of course, Luna would eventually notice that these constellations are a reoccurring thing, and deem it nessicary to come up with actual names for them. Constellations like "the bear" could end up with the name of Claw, or "the wolf" as Fang. Past her kithood, she would continue "studying" these constellations and noticing them in her frequent stargazing. Deeming the names she gave them as a kit too "simple" or "unprofessional," they will all receive new names from her to fit her newfound maturity. In addition, Luna could end up identifying new constellations or interpreting ones she had previously seen as something new as her life continues. ーーーーーーー ーーーーーーー ʜᴏᴡ ᴅᴏ ɪ ᴅᴇᴛᴇʀᴍɪɴᴇ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴄᴏɴsᴛᴇʟʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴs ᴛᴏ ɪɴᴄʟᴜᴅᴇ? To decide on the 24 constellations in this list that would be the beginnings of what Luna would create, I found a list of constellations and copied every one into a doc. I then went through them and removed the ones that involved things Luna would not be able to know about. This included human concepts, items, or characters, alongside animals that she would likely not ever encounter or know about. This left me with 24 different constellations from the original list. After this, I looked over what was remaining and decided on which would be able to stay as they were and which Luna would likely interpret differently. For example, she may not know what a dragon is, but she could see the constellation Draco as a large snake instead. Lastly, after deciding on how she would interpret each of these constellations, I will come up with the initial names she will refer to them with while she is a kit- something I am yet to do, but should complete soon. If there are any constellations you would like to suggest to add to the list, let me know! Although this is all just a test to show what this concept could be if I do win her, I'd love to see how much I can grow this list nonetheless. In addition, if there is any incorrect information found anywhere in this, please let me know! While I do find things like this quite interesting, it is certainly not my area of expertise, and I may have made some errors when it comes to these constellations.
