Hey! This is my character, Rosekit. Rosekit was found abandoned in the woods when she was younger, and this feeling of being left behind has rubbed off on her, shaping her into the cat she is today. One of Rosekit's more particular traits is that she can technically speak, but mainly chooses not to. Instead, Rosekit often speaks with her tail. Of course, it isn't the most precise or detailed way of talking, but it's most often enough, and when it isn't, Rosekit has an extensive vocabulary to explain what could not be comprehended through tail-signals. The following are Rosekit's tail-signals, from longest-existing to the most recently invented ones. There will be a description of each, and as I will be using these when I roleplay, sometimes exceptions to pay attention to. - Tail erect, stiff and still – "I don't feel safe" [if in a new place, a "here" is implied at the end of the phrase] - Tail erect, slowly swishing side to side – "This seems okay" - Tail erect, still, curbed at the tip – "Are you okay?" [only used with other cats] - Tail lowered, inclined to the left – "Yes"/"Left" [view context] - Tail lowered, inclined to the right – "No"/"Right" [view context] - Tail neutral, slowly swaying side to side – "How can I help?" [if tail tip is curbed, to be viewed as sarcastic] - Tail erect, swaying quickly – "I'm excited!" [if swaying very quickly, usually means "I'm scared!" instead] - Tail lowered, almost completely still, tip moving back and forth just enough for it to be noticeable – "I don’t have a mother." - Tail lowered, thrashing quickly side to side – "I'm all alone." - Tail erect, curbed over the back, still – "Hi!"/"How are you?" - Tail neutral, inclined to the right, tail tip flicking slowly – "What are we doing today?" [used almost specifically in the training/mentors sense]
