Chapter 13: After my conversation with Robinwing, I headed back to camp. I didn't want to go to sleep, but I needed rest for tomorrow's training. The next day, I was still tired, but I didn't want to make it obvious how little I slept the night before. "Hey, Needlepaw!", Featheredpaw greeted me as I left the apprentices den. "Guess what!", Hawkwing said. "You're never gonna guess!", she continued. I smiled inwardly. **I love seeing her this happy**, I thought to myself. "Our mentors told us-", Featheredpaw was cut off by Hawkpaw. "Today is our assesment!", Hawkpaw exclaimed. "Oh, wow! I was wondering when we would become warriors!", I told my friends. I was ecstatic. Then Robinwing padded over. "Are you three ready?", she asked. She seemed excited too, though not as excited as us three. "Yeah!", we all said in unison. The three kits, Lilykit, Maplekit, and Fernkit came over. "You're all ready nearly warriors? We're still 3 only 3 moons old! Lucky...", Fernkit mumbled. Lilykit looked sleepy from last night, as if she hadn't slept at all. **Probably was sneaking around camp all night**, I thought to myself. We were tested on solo hunting, group hunting, and fighting. When we came back, I had a mouse and a plump robin. Hawkpaw had a squirrel, rabbit, and two mice. She was always the best hunter. Featheredpaw brought back a mouse and a squirrel. Our mentors padded into the leaders den to report our progress to Leafstar. I headed over to the nursery to hang out with Lilykit and her littermates while we waited.
Chapter 14: Needle paw padded over to me and my littermates as we were tumbling on the ground playfighting. “Are you warriors yet?”, Maplekit asked. “We’re waiting on that”, Featheredpaw replied. They watched Maplekit and Fernpaw play fight, as I quizzed myself on herbs. After a bit, Leafstar called a clan meeting. “Three apprentices have persevered through countless seasons and showed loyalty towards their clanmates. Let starclan watch over them as they serve windclan with their new names, Needlefang, Featheredwing, and Hawktail.”. The crowd yelled out their names three times, me and my littermates cheered the loudest. Joy swelled in my chest, as Leafstar called out their new names, and I saw pride in the three new warriors eyes. **I’ve never seen any cats that happy** I thought to myself.
