(if this sounds like someone dont mention it bcs i kin whoever that crosses on your mind rn :angel:) after that, she takes a job as a newspaper girl. she delivers newspaper and letters everyday. it wasnt really bad for her ofc. but one day, one of her ex gang came to her and said "hey i joined a mafia" and she wasnt interested in it so her friend convinced her to join the mafia but she just says nuh uh!!! and then her friend said "just check out will ya" she couldnt say no twice since thats her behaviour so she said "yeah".. "sure" that friend of hers actually just made her as a bait for their mission. it turns out badly and yeah she was gonna get beat up hard that time and then, boom!! "kokoro o koete", her ability just kicks in at that exact time!! YEAY!!1 after that happened, her friend was flabbergasted to know that she escaped safely and ofc Skye was hella mad but then, the friend just said.. "oh no! that was a test! boss will be happy to meet yaa",, she was confused but also maybe happy..? she finally gets to be what she was again, that old prankster rather than being a newbie for newspaper delivery. she didnt really joined the mafia though, she just follows around to do their missions. the boss of the mafia seems to be okay abt it since her ability is a big advantage bcs usually ppl need to join the mafia first or make some trades and whatsoever to join missions. she most likely joined every missions with combat which it is easy for her since she just needs to get beat up by them to make them get hurt yknow? until one day, the boss convinced her to join this one mission. at this moment, there was a big misunderstood between the mafias and they declared a war but then, they didnt really do anything after days so they wanted to the surprise attack at the port mafia (it was a conflict between some mafias and port mafia) but she doesnt know that this port mafia has a kid which was a 'black mafia' (yes it was dazai and his gang!! dw we're not gonna have a y/n moment) she fought some other mafias that were also involved in this war and the last point was the port mafia, she thought she can with this one just like the other times but she jinx herself. she tried everything to fight them but fails. miserably. bcs of that maniac's ability "No Longer Human", ofc it didnt work on him and atm we discover that Skye actually is VERY very weak physically (irl i am also weak + i get bruises so easily istg) and her ability what makes her win fights all the time but the truth is she wouldnt even win in any fight if she has no ability bcs of this, she had a crisis w herself.
