Backstory: Sandy had always been a curious fish-cat, and Their curiosity had often led Them into trouble. One day, while exploring a boat her and her siblings were using at the harbor, Sandy accidentally got pushed off the boat into the ocean. They panicked as she watched the boat sail away, leaving They stranded in the middle of the vast ocean. As Sandy desperately tried to swim back to the shore, she realized that she was lost and had no idea which direction to go. They felt scared and alone, but she knew she had to keep going if she wanted to survive. Days turned into weeks, and Sandy swam tirelessly, hoping to find their way home. They encountered all sorts of sea creatures, some friendly and some not so much. But Sandy kept going, driven by their strong desire to see their family again. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Sandy saw land in the distance. They swam towards it, They heart pounding with excitement and relief. When she finally reached the shore, she collapsed on the sand, exhausted and weak. But Sandy had made it home, and her family was overjoyed to see Them again. They showered Them with love and affection, grateful that she had survived Their incredible journey. From that day on, Sandy learned to be more careful, but she never lost their sense of curiosity and adventure. They soon wondered, who had pushed Sandy. Everyone assumed they got lost themself. But after some close inspection, they had a horrible bruise behind their fur on their neck. They quickly covered it with a bandana, trying not to worry their parents. They went back to the dock, trying to find some evidence. Then Sandy saw it. The shining silver scale. Their sister's scale.
