July 26 Wednesday 2023 We pass out loafs of bread to customers. "It's time for a lunch break," Leah says, looking at her watch. I close the door on the people in line and put the sign that says: 'Sorry out for lunch break will be back at 1:30.' At around 2:00 I open the door back up and hang back the sign that says: 'We're open! Welcome!' Four hours later I close the door and hang the: 'Sorry we're closed', sign and we clean up the mess in the café. After we clean up we take our aprons off and walk out the door locking it behind us. As we walk home I realize there are 2 horses in a pasture that says for sale. I tap Leah on the shoulder and point to them. We walk towards them and see how much they are. The grey horse is $2,000 and the other is $1,900. As we walk home I calculate it in my head and wager that it is about $3,000. When we get home I look at me and Leah's bank accounts and we have plenty of money! "Yay! I'm glad we can get them, but the only thing is I think we should know some more about them." Leah says when I tell her. Hey, I hope you'll like this new series called Jorvik's Enemy!
