A Moonless Night Chapter Eight ____________________________________________ The dark sky altered the specific way the stars lit up the beautiful, glowing forest. Picture perfect bioluminescent-like spores scattered across the air, leaving beautiful crystal echo sounds bouncing from willow to willow, starting ripples in the bright blue ponds. The magical essence of Starclan's realms was making itself utterly clear, easing Cinderstream's bright, dreamy-blue sight. Her cream colored pelt was shining elegantly with the stars above her. Everything in the deep moment seemed lovely and perfect, but Cinderstream knew from far inside that nothing would ever stay that way. With Starclan's existence itself put in danger, everything could go wrong. One step out of place could cause millions of innocent cats to vanish- but to where was truly the question. After a long time of pondering and walking, Cinderstream thought of an idea. “What if we could somehow have a portal... To another place, much like Starclan... With the the cats' powers put together to create another realm, we could be safe!” Cinderstream thought, yet another thought nagged her in the back of her mind. It's never been done. There's not much evidence to prove it possible... “Cinderstream! Come here, I've got an idea!” Silverpelt yowled. Desperately excited, Cinderstream bolted over to her. “What is it?” “Well... I was thinking... If we could open the portal to the living realms, we could posses a cat! Starclan wouldn't have to fall.” She purred, then she looked down at her paws. “The only problem is, to open the portal, a cat has to die... And Starclan cats shouldn't have to go through that again. Plus, they'll go to the place where all the Starclan cats will go if Starclan falls. We don't know what that place is like.
