Hello!!! This is my entry for @Moon-Reflector ’s DTA! My entry was Glow, who I really liked! (Click to see original) Lol this is the first time that I made something in this style, but though it looks a little weird, I like it! I don’t really care if I win b/c it was fun just making it. So, I did make a few changes to what Glow looks like, which is mainly just the light going from white to black. I changed it because 1. I was making it on a white background, and 2. When I went to make the art I was picturing the black background on the original, so I thought about making the white black b/c I made the black white! That just was an interesting change that I liked the thought of. I also changed the name from Glow to Dark Light. I thought that it was an appropriate name for a cat with a black light. Ok! Onto some of Dark Light’s backstory. Shade was born an ordinary house cat to an ordinary family. Her (I made Dark Light a female) family loved her. Her mother, Pine, was a nice cat who always helped her, but wanted her to be larger because she was the smallest of her litter. Her littermates Yew, Shadow, Ava, and Bright were always including her in games, and loved the way she always made the game more interesting. But one day when she was playing a game of hide-and-seek with them, a large hole opened in the ground. The area around it grew dark. Shade tried to run away, but the hole was sucking her in, calling to her. She fell. She woke up a few hours later. She then gazed at herself, she was not an ordinary cat anymore, her tail and whiskers were darkness, but they somehow made light. She had antennae that glowed, and unnatural pelt colors. Her paws were pure blackness, as if they didn’t exist at all. A dark cat was standing in front of her. At first she was scared, but then the dark cat explained that she was chosen to get the power of dark light. She would hold the balance of light and dark in the world of cats, and that she would never be the same. She returned to the normal world, but never went back to her house. She knew her family would throw her out, so she stayed in the wild, holding the power of balance in her paws. She renamed herself to Dark Light.
