Species Background: The species of caxolotls were created in a laboratory in southern Australia. They were designed to be powerful swimmers, but also to be able to survive on land. The scientists who created Caxolotls had thrown their failed attempts into the sea, not realizing they were invasive. The first group of failed Caxolotls consisted of 14. 7 males and 7 females. This group called themselves the “Half-Harem”. After the realization that was too many, the scientists reduced the second group of failed Caxolotls to 10. 5 males, 5 females. This group was called the “Mixed Harem”. The scientists made one final group of failed Caxolotls. There were 12. 6 males, 6 females. This group was known as the “Tri-Harem” for the scientists attempted to add dog DNA to the mixture. Backstory: Karma is a second generation Half-Harem Caxolotl born to Harper and Bubble. He has two hatch-mates: Micah and Echo. Karma also has a love, Garnet, and two children, Darla and Serine.
