1) Attack on Zombozled's character, Finn (Egg) -- My first attack! I'm actually proud of how this one turned out. - Self-given score: 3.5/5 2) Attack on Armadillo_OwO's character Rowanmoth -- I kinda feel like a deviated a little too much from the original color pallette,my highlights were a little strange, and the back legs look weird but, eh, its... alright. - Self-given score: 2.5/5 3) Friendly-fire attack on Lulupine's character Kochii / Bäckemon -- I really liked the bright, eye-sore coloration I used. Very cute character, but I definitely took a few too many creative liberties with my interpretation of the original design. Also in some places, the shading just doesnt make sense. idk what i was trying to do lmao - Self-given score: 4/5 4) Revenge attack on WH1MSYCL0WN's character Whimsy -- My final attack this year! In love with the silly lil jester fox. I also decided that for my final attack, I had to at least experiment a little bit, so I tried something new with the perspective of the character. all in all, I like it, except for 3 main flaws. That being 1)Anatomy issues- I wanted a really long tail to help with balance, composition, et cetera, but instead, i just ended up with a character with a really weird, anatomically incorrect tail. 2)A new shading style - This one is kind of like a double edged sword for me. From a color theory perspective, the purple balances out the orange, black and reds in the design, but where it falls flat is where it emphasizes and calls attention to weird anatomy issues. Also, going back on that lil color theory tangent, makes the white on the tail stand out in a really weird way, like that vanishing purple elmer's glue that everyone used in elementary school for some reason. but that aside, i liked the spooky atmosphere it added. God i love halloween. and lastly, 3) the background - I liked the colors and how it tries to convey that sense of perspective, but that's about it. the lines aren't straight nor consistent and kinda feels a bit out of place. - Self-given score: 3.5/5 Overall score: 3.375 / 5 ** BONUS ** 5) ref for a new character! Her name's Nessie, based off of the mythical cryptid, the Loch Ness Monster.
