4 weeks, 3 days post op: incision tape is finally gone! 2 weeks, 5 days post op: graft scabs are falling off!!! 2 weeks post op: I’ve got like full arm mobility back and the drain holes have scabbed over! my skin is super irritated from the tape holding the gauze on though 1 week post op: drains out!!! much better 5 days post op: did not get drains out :-( have to wait until Wednesday, I did get the post op compression vest though!! 3 days post op: I can survive until Monday I can survive until Monday I can survive until Monday I can survive until Monday (<——— wants to violently rip out his drains) morning after: mmmmm tired. I’m feeling pretty okay though, albeit sore and wanting to yank out my drains already -v- I’ve started final fantasy xvi though so that’s fun thoughts the night after the procedure: I am very sore and loopy but everything went well!!!!! I got crackers, applesauce, and apple juice in the recovery room so I am no longer hungry :3 my surgery was delayed by a few hours from complications of someone before me but I still got home before 9pm- anyway it was really cold in the OR and really cold when I woke up so when I woke up they gave me a lot of blankets lmao. very happy!!!! very tired though ramblings the night before surgery: bro why is my brain just going “ok” I am literally having a life changing procedure tomorrow?? I guess I kinda know what to expect because my partner had his a few weeks ago so I have no reason to freak out so it’s good I’m not freaking out but I feel like I should be feeling more feelings about it?????? anyway I am not allowed to eat anything until I am in the recovery room and given crackers smh ☹️ I sure hope I have enough arm mobility to play tf2 afterwards (I also want to start final fantasy 16 because I wanted to save it until recovery)
