Among other things, I enjoy learning about various fields in science. I'm not what you'd consider an avid artist nor writer, though they are hobbies I like to dabble in. I also like topics such as history and geopolitics :] It is important to note that I love geese more than anything else in the world. They have an affinity for chaos and multiple counts of crimes against humanity Activity — 7/10 I’m fairly active (I check in daily) though I have things outside the internet I need to attend to. I cannot be online 24/7, however you can expect me to respond within a few minutes or hours (very likely on the same day). I am for the most part inactive during school hours during the fall but have more opportunity to be online after school and during weekends. Desired Role(s) — medicine cat any remaining clan High Role Experience — I am not one to join WCRPs often, though I gained ample experience after trying my hand in multiple high roles in other roleplays. - I have had a musher in both TFN + TFN 2.0 [both roleplays are of my own creation]. Not surprising for my own roleplays, I was active there. - I’ve also had CEOs for the dogfighting roleplays MBR, DW, and HotH. Needless to say, I was active in all of them until their respective deaths (except for HotH, in which case I had an issue with my account that essentially locked me out of Scratch and my main at the time). - In both roleplays, duties required for that role (e.g. training and scheduling fights) were met - I also was the leader in a rather brief roleplay called Bays of Solace. that died early on, however, when the host became mostly inactiv Why I desire this role + why me — To be frank, I do not believe in why someone "should" or "should not" get this role any more than anyone else on an intrinsic level. It is up to whoever has the best application; among other things, the most experienced, the greatest character concepts, is most active, and most familiar with the admin(s). That being said... me not arguing on my own behalf will do me no favors. I want this role simply because of how medicine cats are, to be frank, an interesting and very cool role. I enjoy their relatively unique position in battle cat society as both a medium and a healer that arguably has just as much influence over the clans as their leader. I’ve also been considering joining warrior cats roleplays for quite a bit now, only that much of the roleplays I have come across have already been established (and I have little chance of joining them). TFCRP is wildly large and already firmly established, and so are many other WCRPs on the site. The inclusion of Skyclan here should not be overlooked either. As for why I “should” be chosen, I’m definitely going to use the position in at least a somewhat unorthodox way. Kuiper/Neptune/Orbit is supposed to be an unusual medicine cat— and deviations from normalcy is half the fun of roles. I wish to experiment in a position that is usually reserved to people who have been in a well-established roleplay for months, so this opportunity does not come along very often.
Character Concept [Take two] — Names : Kuiper/Saturn/Orbit/Neptune [subject to change] Age : 15-25 moons Gender : undecided, masc-leaning however not a binary male Orientation : on the aroace-spectrum, also undecided Young, forthright, and possessing intelligence much beyond his years, their surface-level disposition is rather typical of a medicine cat. Their logical capabilities are simply outstanding, and so is their memorization of the various herbs needed to function as a medicine cat. Like most others that hold his prestigious role, he has a fascination with the stars. And then… that is just about where the similarities end. They are detached in the worst possible way a medicine cat could be; he does not sympathize with his patients well, nor does he seem to be a good shoulder to cry on for almost anyone who wanders into the medicine den. Do not mistake this for heartlessness; he will attempt to show his care, though it's something that doesn't come easily to him. He’ll try to comfort you, perhaps through ineffective means of humor or your run-of-the-mill awkward attempts at cheering you up (e.g. “oh, well, at least you have not tripped too far in and died at the base the ravine..?”). This weakness is (arguably) made up for via his impeccable skills as a healer for his age. He gets the job done, and then he’ll tell you to shoo. His true interests lie not in the spiritual realm nor out of passion to heal his clanmates (though he might as well tack on the latter one as a bonus)— in fact, he's a bit ignorant of Starclan as a higher power. Realizing the hunt-patrol-fight monotony of warrior life could never suit them, he turned to the medicine cat role for escape and has since found the sanctuary of his role a welcome place to be in. He’s been having a blast gathering information on various herbs— and some topics most other medicine cats would stop at, and still other subjects that are wholly out of the boundaries of biology and medicine. Dissections and autopsies are just one of his lines of interest. Others include the recording of stellar objects. The natural world never fails to give him wonder. As a result, most of their clan sees them less of a serious or orthodox medicine cat and more the clan’s best and brightest researcher (perhaps because there’s no one else that does his field of work, making him the clan’s /only/ researcher). They come for him for healing or to glean information he has gained in his research, not for omens or asking “hey how’s uncle Gregorypelt doing in cat heaven” (to which he’ll either ignore you or make something up to shoo you away). I’d imagine he would be engrossed in the worldly aspect of the medicine cat duties as someone who dabbles in the healing and research parts of the job, and another medicine cat would have to cover for the spiritual side of the role. He believes in Starclan without a shadow of a doubt, however he sees them as entities that should not meddle in the affairs of the living. He also does not do well with omens, believing they are irrational and the result of a pattern-seeking mind. [the closest thing to describe him is probably a deist— he does believe in Starclan, but also that that divine revelation (e.g. omens, prophecies, etc.) isn’t the way to go. He’d much rather uncover divine creation through the study of the physical world.] Also, it would be interesting to see a dynamic between him [a cat who does not have much of a connection to starclan], their clan, and their apprentice as someone who has “knowledge about Starclan’s latest doings” is part of their job [and he is quite bad at it] Codewords — Have you ever been outside in a particularly snowy night? Rather hard to see a meter in front of you [especially when you're more nearsighted than a guinea pig and seldom wear glasses], but I enjoy it nonetheless. —
