I wake up in my sleeping pod on the spaceship. Everyone was still sleeping. I look around and realize that we have been sleeping for YEARS! We were supposed to be sleeping for a couple weeks. "Something must have malfunctioned in the pods..." I thought. "I should wake everyone up." I started waking everyone up in the order of Joy, Caleb, Lucas, Lauren, Samantha, Ava, Felix, and me, Oliver. I get very sleepy when I wake up, so I had to motivate myself to wake up too. We all gathered around the room, and we discussed the issue. "Oliver... Why did you wake us up? It feels like we have only slept for 5 minutes!" said Ava. "Ava, look around! does this look like we've been sleeping for 5 minutes?" grumbled Lucas. We all looked around. There were loose wires, leaves everywhere, and the lights were buzzing. But what was weird, was that there were claw marks on the walls and the floors. It looked like the other crew mates noticed too. "Wh-what are those claw marks?" Caleb asked. The whole room was silent. "It's fine. I don't see whatever was here, so we should be okay." I said after a long pause. "Let's go get our suits on." I suggested. "Yeah... yeah... We can fix everything around the ship and try to reach out to earth!" Joy whimpered looking at the claw marks. "Sounds like a plan to me!" said Lauren. Everyone nodded in agreement. "Then it's settled," declared Lucas. "We grab our suits, fix the ship, and try to reach out to earth." "What do we do if we can't connect back to earth?" asked Felix. "Then we can try to find a way back ourselves." Lucas clarified. "Let's go get our suits then." said Ava.
