Don't kill me if some of it seems underdeveloped I forgot a lot of it, changed some of it to make more sense, and most of the backstory doesn't have impact without knowing about his current self, if you actually want that tell me (no one wants it))))). Anyways let's go, time for trauma!!! There are 3 main artifacts called the Fallacy Gems, which fell from the sky during the War in the Clouds, where the gods and goddesses fought about which worlds to spare and favor. The war raged on for several years to the point where colorful lightning would strike every time an attack was thrown, eventually creating the Fallacy Gems with all of the buildup. The Treasure Trio, three girls named Dalia, Ayla and Jess, went out to search for the legendary gems in hopes of gaining immortality. When they found the gems, it sent out a wave of energy that made the people of Earth have magical abilities, and the Treasure Trio wore the gems around their necks, becoming immortal and having the strongest abilities of all. A mysterious goddess, soon to be known as the Ringmaster, took interest in Earth when all of the gods dispersed, neglecting their needy creations whose worlds became overrun with infectious monsters. The appearance of a goddess gave Earth's people hope. But the Ringmaster did not do what they hoped. She turned the world into a massive game separated into three teams, telling the Treasure Trio to lead each team or face death. Dalia wanted to fight back against the Ringmaster and free Earth, but Ayla thought getting on the Ringmaster's good side would be better for the people. However, she trusted Dalia with her life, so she agreed to fight the goddess and use their powers to make Earth better for everyone. They went up against the goddess, but in no time at all the Ringmaster won, killing Jess. The trio was gone, and they were forced to play her game, but it didn't take too long for it to become will. Flash forward hundreds of years into the future, where this 'game' is still continuing. Every year there is a tournament, and if your team wins you get resources for the year by the grace of the Ringmaster. Dalia and Ayla are still alive, having descendants to carry on their legacy when they're ready. After Jess' death, her children sought to pass on the gem to every generation rather than keep all of the power to themselves. Nora Orpiment is the most recent holder of the gold Fallacy gem. Taught to only make room for the strongest in the tournament, and to banish those who will not win to the other Sectors in order to ensure victory. Married to Jaxon, a rich person who does anything to support his wife's purpose. And finally, mother of Rosalia (Rose), Jasper and Mavis. Rose always tried her best to make her mom proud. Jasper did the opposite and just wanted to do things his own way. Mavis tried to get her family to stay together. Somehow no one got what they wanted, all in one fell swoop. But before it all crashed, Jasper had a friend named Cecil. However, he was from the Ruby Sector, and on the day of the tournament, Nora found out. He was sick of always being compared to his much more powerful siblings and not being allowed to do anything normal kids did, so Jasper ran away to get out of the toxic environment. Rose got blamed for this, because SHE'S the one who's supposed to keep her siblings in line, and why couldn't she? Mavis got really clingy to Rose and physically can't go anywhere without her. After this, Jasper went to the Ruby Sector, Ayla's domain. He changed his name to Grayson to have a new life. But he got swept up in another organization, the Rafflesia, that was basically his mom's but a lot more people. He eventually realized he'd been played and realized he had to leave again, and so he did, except he got caught this time. He became a subject for Dr. Finn, the Rafflesia's scientist who had been kept inside all their life and not let near anyone to focus on making tech for people. They were fascinated by social life, but didn't understand what it was, so like everything else, they experimented on it. Unfortunately that made all of their subjects miserable and not properly cared for. But they had that in common, so some of them became friends. Grayson in particular met a new girl from the Sapphire Sector named Eileen. Not even a day after, Dalia's army came raging through to bring her back, Grayson also escaping in the chaos. Pretty much everything he'd ever done was for the service of someone else, even when he tried his hardest to be independent. So he swore that he would never get tricked again, and instead became a liar, cheater and maybe murderer himself. He became the scourge of the Ruby Sector, solidifying himself as one of the most wanted people in the area. He wears that with pride and has no remorse for his actions. But when the tournament starts again, people from his past start to show up, and he realizes he doesn't even know who he is anymore.
