History: The standard pistol of the PAF from 1901-1961, the Targos Brandas TBG-12 Mauler was one of the most reliable pistols ever made. The TBG-12 used a very unusual firing system, with an internal blowback bolt and a striker pin instead of a more standard slide and hammer. The bolt piece was hollow, containing the striker pin which reset via the blowback action. Using the TBG-12 was simple, but maintenance was a living nightmare, with operators having to essentially break the gun in half, remove the bolt and barrel group just to get to the trigger system. The TBG-12 was also the first pistol used by the PAF to have an internal magazine, located in the grip, which contained eight 10.2mm rimmed cartridges. These cartridges made the TBG-12 heavy but powerful, with 10.2mm being one of the largest pistol cartridges at the time. ----------------- Specs: Capacity: 8 rds Cartridge: 10.2mm Rimmed Fire rate: 105 rounds per minute Range: 50m (Effective) 75m (Max)
