Examensquilla Marelupus, the direct descendant of Interfectorem Vermis, is a common ocean creature in Typhon. They are social creatures, found in schools of up to twenty. Much of their behaviour has been retained from their ancestors. Due to lack of use, eight of their arms have devolved into fins, while the first two limbs are no used for catching prey and defending itself. Now a meter long, they feed on fish and other creatures such as crustaceans. When mating, males flash their back lights near the surface, and the better fed and built, the more likely they will be able to mate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Information ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location(s): Anywhere in saltwater. Some freshwater variants exist too, but they exist in smaller groups. Other live in the open ocean away from the shore. Endangerment level: around 3 in coastal areas. However, they are essentially the dominant species in the open ocean, due to them being one of the few creatures that try to thrive there. Diet: Carnivorous, mostly fish and other marine arthropods, and they can take one creatures larger than they are in swarms. However, they can also feed on plankton as a minor food source.
