Blast away the Ghosts with some Fruits, which are: • Cherry - Standard, default fruit • Strawberry - Splits into 3 • Grape - Inflates • Starfruit - Goes fast • Banana - Acts like a boomerang. It'll go back in the direction you're facing. If you shoot whilst facing left but then go right, it'll go in the right • Plum - Explodes • Melon - Splits into 2 and explodes. Can also bounce off edges • Orange - Is slower, but his size is able to defeat more Ghosts There's also the fruit you can only use 5 times: the Pumpkin. Starting from level 30, it explodes, and can destroy a majority of Ghosts. Beware! For every 100 Ghosts you defeat, more will appear and they'll get faster! Starting level 15, you'll be rewarded with Bubbles and Pogo's favourite chocolate candy snack, "N Pellets". It'll restore your health back to 20! They'll only appear if your health is below 9. Each Ghost will score you around 10-30 points each. N Pellets can also give you 100 points. Try and reach level 110, indicated by the red flag. CONTROLS • Left and Right Keys to move • X to shoot • Z to use Pumpkin On the character select screen, there's a blue square in the bottom left. This houses skins you can apply in-game, those being: • Halloween • Super Bubbles • Christmas In the 18-levels-long Fever Mode, Ghosts with special abilities will spawn in. • Shell Ghost - Uses a turtle shell as a helmet. Can be defeated by Grape, Plum, Melon, or Orange. Is worth 70 - 90 points. • Runner Ghost - Runs and is faster than the other Ghosts. Is worth 30 - 50 points. • Mariachi Ghost - Can go in any direction. Is worth 50 - 70 points. • Grave Ghost - Uses a gravestone as a shield, and is immune to all fruit except Banana, Plum, Orange, Melon, and Grape. Is worth 90 - 110 points. • Balloon Ghost - Airborne Ghost who's immune to all fruit except Starfruit, Plum, Orange, and Melon. Is worth 170 - 190 points. • Pogo Stick Ghost - Can jump in the air to dodge attacks. Whilst in-air, its immune to all fruit except Plum, Melon, and Grape. Is worth 150 - 170 points. • Bomb Ghost - Is fast, and explodes as soon as it reaches the bottom. Is worth 500 - 900 points. Pool Party's 18 levels take you to the swimming pool in Bubbles' backyard. Ghosts include: • Penguin Ghost - Wears an inflatable Penguin pool float to swim. Basically an aquatic Ghost. • Duck Ghost - Similarly to Penguin Ghost, he wears a pool float of a yellow duck. He can also move in any direction, and is immune to all fruit but the Starfruit, Banana, or Melon. Is worth 30 - 50 points. • Scuba Ghost - Uses scuba gear to swim underwater. You can use the Melon against it. Is worth 50 - 70 points. Balloon Ghost is also present. 18 More levels are present in Rainy Day. The aquatic Ghosts and Land Ghosts cross-over and work together to take over Bubbles' Garden. Aside from the normal Ghost, other ones include the Shell, Runner, Mariachi, Balloon, Duck, and Scuba Ghosts. NEW GHOST: • Umbrella Ghost - Uses an umbrella to fend itself from the fruit useful against aquatic Ghosts, like Starfruit, Banana, and Melon. Otherwise, it can still be defeated by other fruit. Is worth 190 - 210 points. The gang work overtime and fend the garden from incoming Ghost hordes in the Night Shift gamemode. Alongside regular Ghosts, nocturnal ones are also present, who'll go insane every 10-30 seconds for a similar amount of time. They're also worth between 30 - 50 points. They'll move fast, so think carefully and strategically on how to beat this scary and challenging mode! Maybe we should give Bubbles and the others a little break. Hence as to why there's Slingshot Mode! Fruit will be launched from a slingshot. Aim using the left and right keys, and launch by pressing "X". Defeat 800 Ghosts in 2 minutes. (CONTINUES IN NOTES AND CREDITS)
In Colour Chaos, there are 4 different coloured Ghosts who can only be defeated by one of each fruit. Here's the gamemode in more detail: • Red Ghost - Can be defeated by Cherry. Is worth 10 - 30 points. • Pink Ghost - Can be defeated by Strawberry. Is worth 30 - 50 points. • Yellow Ghost - Can be defeated by Starfruit. Is worth 50 - 70 points. • Purple Ghost - Can be defeated by Plum. Is worth 70 - 90 points. There's also a bomb which can destroy Ghosts of any colour. In the 30-levels-long Invisible Mode, the Ghosts are invisible for the entire game. You can only use 3 fruits: Cherry, Starfruit, and Banana. Also, N Pellets appear earlier on in this gamemode, as they'll be available starting from level 5. Alongside this, you won't be able to use the Pumpkin. In the Boss Fight, you'll be able to fight off the Boss Ghost, who would not only spawn in other Ghosts, but also throw Bombs and Fireballs. The Hard Mode is Classic Mode with these differences: • Only Cherry, Starfruit, Plum, and Melon can be used • You only have 5 health points • N Pellets and the Pumpkin are absent Moreover, there's also the Zen Mode, where you'll need to achieve the highest score in 5 minutes. A random amount of between 15-35 Ghosts will spawn in, each of which will be worth about 10 - 300 points. You can also collect gold coins, which can be worth 100 - 300 points. An amount of 10 - 15 coins can be available each time you play. Roughly every 30 or so seconds, a rainbow balloon will fly past you on-screen, between a random amount of 1-9 times per play. If you pop it using some Fruit, you'll achieve between 500-900 points! Also, you can't die or lose any health in this mode, hence the title! Just sit back, relax, and defeat some Ghosts! Want more? There's minigames as extras! Those being: • Pipsqueak's Picnic - Eat s'mores to pass 3 waves. Each wave has 30 s'mores. Miss 3 s'mores, and it's game over! • Splash and Spike: Feeding Frenzy - A minigame based on one of Bubbles and Pogo's favourite cartoons. You'll get a random character chosen for you, either Splash the Clownfish, or Spike the Sea Urchin. You have to dodge the hungry piranhas 30 times for each wave, using the left and right keys. Pass all 3 waves, you win! • Ghost Season - A minigame where you play as one of the Ghosts. There are projectiles flying above you, some of those being the Duck Bros., which consist of Junior (yellow duck), Bill (mallard), Webby (white duck), and Larry (penguin). Throw a Ghost at the projectiles 75 times in each wave, using the left and right keys to move, and "X" to shoot. Pass all 3 waves before time runs out. • Burger Blitz - A minigame focusing on one of the Coral Kingdom's most popular fast food restaurants. Collect the 4 food items on-screen 8 times by clicking them. Pass all 3 waves before time runs out. • Duck Race - A minigame where you play as Junior, racing against 3 of the Duck Bros. Press "X" to slowly fly and reach to the finish line. There's some bonus levels in there too. Bubbles Media Fever is a "remaster" of sorts to the Fever Mode, only this time, most of the enemies have been replaced with objects meant to represent people in my friend group. • Shell Ghost - Kitsune Mask • Runner Ghost - @Eventlesstew (is my friend in real life) • Mariachi Ghost - Pencil • Grave Ghost - Playing Card • Balloon Ghost - Carl (from my webcomic series, Mallowpuff the Hamster) • Pogo Stick Ghost - Microphone • Bomb Ghost - Frog on a cloud The Bubbles Media Boss Fight is exactly how it sounds like. One major difference is that enemies spawned in will appear more frequently. Want a pause button? Play it on Turbowarp! https://turbowarp.org/880393720 At your local Starbucks? Travelling overseas? It took a good while to figure everything out, and look where we are now! • Inspired by my love for retro gaming (e.g Super Mario), alongside other casual games, specifically Angry Birds and Plants Vs.
