Chapter 44: Phoenix led me to her hellhound. “I’m afraid North Star isn’t capable of taking you down there.” “I should tell him first,” I slightly defended him. “No time, just give a mental warning. But leave him in your head as long as he doesn’t annoy you, he might actually give help.” “North Star.” “Artemis.” “I’m going into hell with Phoenix on Fang.” “WHAT?” “Don’t stop me. I have to. I’ll leave the mental communication on as long as you don’t try to stop me. Got to go.” “Go then. I’ll see what I can do.” I got on behind Phoenix. “Let’s go to Hell.” Author's Note: Can you se the recklessness? yeah that's why I'm loving her :3 -Jenna
Chapter 45: Fang led us all the way to the entrance of a cave before halting. “This is the entrance,” she said, gesturing to the cave entrance. “It looks humble, but as you walk in, you will start to feel some of the power of the realm we are about to enter.” And then we entered. The cave was dark and damp, and the air was thick with the smell of sulfur. The walls were covered in strange symbols, and the floor was littered with bones. Fang of Blood carried us to a pit of fire. “We need to jump through,” Phoenix explained. I looked at the pit of jumping flames. I could almost see faces in it. “I…I can’t,” I stammered. “You have to,” Phoenix said. “It’s the only way.” I stood in front of it, undecided. “It’s either that, or I push you in,” she said, daringly. No way. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I could feel the heat of the flames on my skin. I jumped. The flames licked at my skin, but I didn’t feel any pain. I landed on the other side of the pit, and I opened my eyes. I was in a different world. The sky was a deep purple, and the ground was covered in a thick layer of ash. The trees were all bare, and the only sound was the wind howling through the dead branches. “Welcome to the Realm of the Dead,” Fang announced. “Welcome to Hell.” Author's Note: Yeah, Welcome! Have a wonderful trip! -Jenna
