Chapter 72: Phoenix emerged from the ground, on Fang of Blood, causing a massive crater right at Agatha’s feet. Everyone staggered back as a huge crowd merged behind her. Not a crowd. An army. The army of Hell. Agatha stepped back and summoned her flames and blade again. “Come for a rematch?” she asked, raising her eyebrow. “Ahh, no. I have someone else to deal with here. And I have someone else who wants to deal with you,” she declared, and with that a massive black chariot drawn by skull horses appeared. And in it was Hades himself, with Thanatos hovering next to him. He did not waste time on words. He simply gave the command to attack. And then, for the second time, all hell broke loose. Chapter 73: The Moonrise soldiers, bolstered, fought back against the two armies; the advancing Pyrokinetics and the returning Frosters, now sided by the Hellish army. I found Phoenix next to me, and we started forward together. The first time the rider of an ice fox and a rider of a hellhound worked together. Merging her flames and my ice together, we routed whoever came our way with our combined blades and power. I felt the thrill of victory. But then, as I sent a few invading Frosters running and had to step a bit higher up the hill, I looked down at the battlefield and was filled with horror. It was filled with dead bodies. Mutilated demons, hellhounds writhing in the dust in pain, soldiers from all sides just splayed out through the valley as the living fought to their hardest. Thanatos just hovered over the battlefield, slaying some with his sword, but mostly picking up the souls heading straight for Hell on both sides. It was absolutely horrifying. “This needs to stop,” I murmured in dread, A bright light flashed, and as I saw the light spread over the battlefield, my sight dimmed and I was thrown off from North Star, landing heavily on the ground.
