(continued in notes and credits) Hello. I am writing this random nonsense to get words for cabin wars. I'm just gonna ramble about my vacations, or something. Maybe I'll ramble about me, kinda like a 1000 word intro challenge. Anyways. In Scratch, I go by the name Alex. I use she/her pronouns, and I'm 12 years old. I am from Argentina. Something I enjoy doing is coding. Apart from Scratch, I know Python and some Javascript. I'm planning on coding an app for my Android phone, which means I'll have to learn Java. Hopefully I can also make it run via Android Auto, so I can play the game while I'm on the copilot seat and my dad is driving. There's probably a better term than 'copilot seat', but it's just not coming to me at the moment. This ramble probably makes no sense and is full of grammatical errors, but I don't care. Just so long we don't lose a cabin war. We haven't lost any wars yet in this round, and neither have we in the first round. This is not going to be the first one. We need around 1900 words in the next hour, so I'm considering asking a mercenary to help. Of course, this will have a price. I just commented on the Contemporary cabin, hopefully someone can step in to write towards the Poetry war (the one I'm writing towards right now). Other stuff I enjoy doing is graphic designing, reading, and of course writing. This is my eighth SWC session, I think, which means it's my two year anniversary! Nice. I can't believe it's been that long. I also can't believe how quick the session has passed. How is it the 22nd already? That reminds me, it's Mango Day! A pretty important day for us SWC'ers. This year, it's a Saturday, so it's the same day as cabin wars, which means a new system's been introduced: mercenaries! Mercenaries are volunteers that are able to write for other cabins. Each cabin is given three mangoes, which you can use to pay these volunteers to write for a cabin war if you need help. I feel this is going to be a little chaotic, but will also add to the fun. Back to me, time to speed through some random facts. 3, 2, 1, go! I despise pizza. I like vexillology. I got 100% on Sporcle's Flags of the World quiz. I enjoy watching JackSucksAtLife, as well as his other channels (I'm not gonna include them all). I also like watching rekrap2, Skeppy, and camman18. Have I mentioned I'm a huge Hamilton fan? I don't think I have - so yeah! I first watched the musical in February 2022, after getting a co-leader offer by the amazing Elle. Everyone was talking about and making references to Hamilton, so I decided to give it a watch and was astonished by the complex dancing and intricate lyrics. Lin-Manuel Miranda is a true genius. Side-note: Look at me using advanced English vocabulary!! My username on most websites is now hamilchaos, which was a term originally created by the legend known as Soki during the March 2022 SWC session. I made the account as a joke, but later when I wanted to move accounts, I realized I could move there. So that's my username origin story! My favorite movie is The Greatest Showman, and there's an interesting story on how I got into it. One of the SWC hosts, Birdi, left and started gHosting. Me and a bunch of other SWC participants, led by the fantastic Kenzie, decided to organize a collab/tribute to say goodbye to her. We were kinda like spies, trying to figure out Birdi's favorite music/songs, number, color, etc. So I asked her if she had any music recs -- and she said that The Greatest Showman soundtrack is really good. I asked where I could watch it, and she replied it was on Disney+. That's where my TGS craze started! So if it wasn't for her leaving, I'd never have discovered that amazing movie. I mean, maybe I would, who knows. But it wouldn't be as special, and now I'll forever remember Birdi as the person who introduced me to the movie.
After adding all those words, we still need 1089. Hopefully I can speed some of those. I just asked for a mercenary, but I don't know if we'll find one in time since we just have 20 minutes left. It's going to be hard to speed through this, but I hope I'm going to be able to. We are currently in a restaurant. I'm going to eat chicken, so I'm hyped for that. Why was the auto suggested word for 'chicken' 'chicken pox'? I mean, what else could be suggested anyway? All that paragraph only added to around 100 words. Yay, I'm going to do half a war alone. Actually, in the best case scenario, I won't. Because some mercenary is going to help me! Hopefully. (I don't know how many times I've said 'hope' or 'hopefully' in this rant.) There's probably much repetition in this ramble, and grammatical inconsistencies and errors. But again, do I care? Not at all, because it's going to help Contemp win! For some reason I keep talking about my cabin and cabin wars instead of myself, this was originally a 1000 word intro challenge. How many words do I have now? I must have around 200 at least. I just checked, 204! And we have fifteen minutes left. I think we might lose this war, unless someone is magically able to speed, like, 800 words. We have a cabin war streak and we do not need to lose it. Okay, I'm going to check if someone else has added words or if some mercenary has replied to my request. Wish me good luck.
