Windows XP was launched on 25th October 2001, It was the first NT Kernel Based OS. The OS before that were from 9x family. The Development of Windows XP started in mid 90s when Microsoft were focusing on 2 OS: Neptune (As Home Operating System) Odyssey (As Business Operating System) Microsoft Decided to Combine both Neptune and Odyssey and Made Whistler. There were many builds made for Whistler. Many Features from Windows ME and Many features from Windows 2000 was Combined to make an Perfect OS. Microsoft wanted to make an Fluent Design, the Wallpaper (Bliss, the most Popular Wallpaper made by Charles O'Rear), Sounds, GUI Design and so more. Microsoft Wanted an Operating System that is Use for Home Users and Professional Users. Microsoft were focusing on Home OS like Windows 98 and ME. While they Created an Professional or Business OS like Windows NT 4.0 or 2000. When the Development was completed and when the OS was made, they released it. And all over the World, it got Famous. By the Report of September 2022, At least 0.39% People still Use Windows XP. The Love towards the OS is still there. It was an Childhood OS for Everyone who Used it between 2000-2014. Microsoft Ended the Support for Windows XP on 14th September 2014.
