This is my first time entering one, so bear with me please TvT (click space / tap the screen to see more art!) currently on the long journey to finding my art style ;^; in the second to last photo, i forgot to add white ;-; ––––––––––––––––––––––––\/––––––––––––––––––––––––– ~About BlueVines~ BlueVine is a species of alien, that is very cat-like, and blends in well with them. They are omnivores, but prefer to eat berries, and fruits. They communicate through signals created by their antenna. These creatures are incredibly social, and enjoy the company of other BlueVines. They are found around large packs of fireflies, and in pine forests at night. These creatures are a mix of a cat, and firefly, from what we can tell. They are drawn to vines, so if you want to capture one, put vines outside of your den. They use vines as accessories, or, they could grow on them, nobody can tell. These creatures are pretty small, around the size of a small, young kit. These creatures don’t seem to have a set gender at all, so most believe they come from a different planet. They are able to live in almost any circumstances. They do have mouths, but they don’t talk with their mouthes, as stated previously. Their favorite food to eat is holly berries. Though d3adly to cats, it empowers the BlueVines, and gives them the nutrition they would get from their foods on their home planet. These cat-like creatures are sometimes seen with small bug-like wings on their antennae, and paws. These BlueVines are worshiped by others, and seen as royalty. –––––––––––––––––––––\/–––––––––––––––––––––––––––– ~Personality traits of the BlueVines~ BlueVines are social to others of their own species, but tend to stay away from anyone, or anything else, and are scared of cats, dogs, humans, etc. They are excitable, and kind. They tend to be fast on their small feet, and are very hyper! Their antennae glow when excited, or happy. They flee when loud noises are heard. –––––––––––––––––––––––\/–––––––––––––––––––––––––– ~Fun Facts~ - BlueVines can teleport, but only in certain weathers, and climates. - These buggy bois can survive in almost any weather, but prefer places like pine forests, and mangrove swamps. - When they communicate, to cats, and any other animal, it sounds like ringing bells. - They can float, but for a limited amount of time. - if cats get close enough, they can become pets, or, they will ring their antennae at a very high frequency, damaging the cat’s ears, and producing an immense amount of light. - if threatened, these lil guys will produce a toxin that makes animals, bugs, and humans faint for 10-20 minutes. - BlueVines can be tamed with blueberries, vines, or holly. - BlueVines name each other with their own language, but their names can be translated, and are usually something to do with nature. - these buzzy lil fluffers can’t show much emotion - they usually stay in packs, (or swarms) of 10-15 - very rare to see, and are known as a sign of good fortune!! ––––––––––––––––––––––\/––––––––––––––––––––––––––– ~A lil rp (kinda?) with one cuz why not ^_^~ Leaf was prancing around the muddy swamps of the mangrove forests, their paws sticky with mud. Their eyes showed no emotion as usual, just reflected the shimmering of theirs, and many other BlueVine’s antennae. A large crowd of fireflies swarmed around the group of 12 BlueVines. They dipped their head, and smiled. Their antennae ringed in greeting, as the rest of the swarm did the same thing. The shimmering sky above made the BlueVines thrive that night. They began to search for vines, and their favorite snack, holly. Their blue, and white pelt ruffled in the slight winds, their ears twitched at a rustling bush nearby. A cat emerged soon after, and Leaf backed away, before realizing the holly, and vines carried in its mouth. They excitedly rushed over to the cat, asking for the holly, and vines in their own ringing language. The cat raised an eyebrow, and backed away from the little creature. Leaf’s ears drooped, and they let out a low ring. The cat dropped the holly, and ran off. Leaf seemed content, and carried the berries back to the rest of the swarm… –––––––––––––––––––––––\/––––––––––––––––––––––––––I’d write more, but I’m very tired aaa— thank you for reading this all, I enjoyed this so much, it was loads of fun!!!
