Alr, so before I start we need some warnings. Don’t read if you haven’t watched/read the entertainment district arc (Rant below) So in order to set the scene, I will tell you his story. Muzan Kibutsuji was around 20 when he became a ‘demon’ per se. Now why I say per se is because, technically speaking, being a demon is a disease. I can’t exactly explain it, but take my word. Now the disease was supposed to kill him by the time he turned twenty, and he had someone to tend his medicine, in hopes of killing the disease. But Muzan felt it was not working and bit the hand that fed him. He killed the man who gave him his medicine. Now he soon realized that the medicine was doing its job. His physical abilities (speed, strength, basically everything). He knew that he would die if he came in contact with sunlight, so he only went out at night. But this is where the ‘fun’ part begins. He grew a craving for human flesh and blood. He began murdering (and eating) people in cold blood, just to sate his hunger. Now that his story is over, let me make point #1 as to why I hate him so much. He DELIBERATELY manipulates the demons that serve him. One example is previous upper rank six, Daki. In one scene he says “No one compares to your beauty and strength.” Then in the very beginning of the swordsmith village arc, he says that she was holding Gyutaro back. Pure manipulation. Now what makes it even worse is that Daki LOVED HIM, he knew this and he had the NERVE to manipulate her. Now, point #2. He only does things for his own growth. He only regretted killing the guy who gave him his medicine after he realized that he knew where the blue spider lily grew, as that would make him immortal. You see, he doesn’t care what his demons do as long as it either helps make him immortal or helps in his true plan of world domination (that’s not stated in the manga but we all know he wants it).
