It's supposed to work now. You can find more instructions inside, but basically you just need to delete the script that sets all cloud variables between P1 to P10 to 0 (it is in the engine sprite). Then after that, add cloud variables from P1 to P10 in the cloud sprite, and afterwards you can see what I made changes there. Note that you CAN'T backpack the cloud variables, and if you did, you need to install them again in your original project.
