Chapter 3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eva walked through the door into the common room, staring around in wonderment at the sight that beheld her. The common room had a soothing green light to it and was filled with green sofas and chairs with a big roaring fireplace in one corner, the big circular windows loomed over head showing the dark murky waters beyond. Milli prodded her back to the present just in time to hear the end of what Felicity was saying. "The girls dorms are located behind the tapestry on the wall and the boys dorms as located opposite it" she finished with a smile and left Eva and the other first years to look around their new home for the next 7 years. Eva and Milli made their way to the tapestry that Felicity and pointed out and pulled it aside to reveal and short stone staircase down into and large circular room filled with large four poster beds with green and silver quilts draped over the beds and long hanging curtains, at the end of each bad stood a chest and all their luggage including their pet cages. Eva rushed over to her bed which was right beside Millis and took Whiskers out of his cage and he squeaked happily. Eva looked around at the other girls in the room there where only one other person a girl with dark skin and bright green eyes sitting on her bed stroking a black cat much like Moon Shadow who was lying curled up on Milli's bed fast asleep. Eva walked over and said "Hi my name's Eva, what's yours?" the girl looked up at Eva and smiled, "My names Isla are you a first year too?" Isla asked. "Yes my brother, Draco, is in the third year." Eva said sitting down on Isla's bed. Milli walked over too and introduced herself stroking the black cat Isla was holding. "Her name is Midnight" said Isla laying the cat down onto the bed gently. Milli got up of the bed and walked back over to her suitcase. "We should probably unpack it's nearly 9pm and Felicity said that all year ones have to be in their dorms by 9:15pm" said Milli who had been listening to what Felicity was saying. "I don't need to unpack i have everything organized in my suitcase already" Eva said we a grin pulling herself up and walking over to her suitcase, she opened it and took some things out until she found her pajamas, which had little green snakes on them. She pulled off her robes folding them neatly into her chest at the end of her bed and put on her pajamas. She looked over at Milli who was still trying to find her pajamas under the mess of cloths and books in her suitcase. Eva pulled back her quilt and got into bed making sure that Whiskers was tucked into the collar of her PJs. "I think I am going to go to bed now, I am really tired" said Eva with a yawn and snuggled down into the warm quilt pulling the covers up to her chin and snuggling Whiskers. Milli and Isla and barley replied before Eva had fallen fast asleep. This time Eva didn't dream the dream she had had the night before she dreamed of spending her years at Hogwarts with her new friends Milli and Isla, she even to her surprise found herself dreaming about Theodore and the look he had given her at the Great hall the look of anger and confusion , a part of Eva felt something that felt like sadness that Theodore hadn't spoken to her since he shouted at her on the train but her other thoughts soon clouded it over and she fell into an even deeper dreamless sleep.
