Different classes use different weapon types. This game uses the classic Fire Emblem Weapon Triangle. Axes beat Lances, which beat Swords, which in turn beat Axes. Triangle bonuses deal double damage. Weapon Types by class: -Fighter (Brigand): Axe -Mercenary: Sword -Knight: Lance -Sword Cav (Light): Sword -Lance Cav (Heavy): Lance -Wyvern Rider: Lance -Myrmidon: Sword -Paladin: Sword -Peg. Knight: Lance (Not all classes listed) Defeating enemies nets you EXP. Getting 100 levels you up, which increases stats. The stats that increase depend on your class. Items: After completing chapter 1, you will be granted access to the arena shop. Here you can buy stat-boosting items or class changing items. (Items with * do not work) -Energy Ring: +Attack -Dragonsheild: +Defense -Angelic Robe: +HP -Great Sheild: Changes class to Knight. Knights get +HP and +Defense -Warrior's Contract: Changes class to Mercenary. Mercenary changes to Fighter. -Horse Seal*: Changes class to Cav.
