-HOW TO PLAY- Wait for the PA to announce that a train is arriving. (You'll also see "Train approaching" on the "Next Train" screen and hear a chime.) The train will then pull into the station. Wait until the train has come to a stop, then press the "Open Doors" button to let passengers board the train. After a few seconds, press the "Clear to Depart" button. A short jingle and announcement will play. After this has finished, you may press the "Close Doors" button to close the train doors. The train will then depart. If you want to make an announcement to the passengers on the platform, press the "Public Address System" button, then type in what you want to say. Type "N" to exit. NOTE: If the "Public Address System" button does not show up when you start the project, click the green flag again and it should appear. If it still doesn't appear, keep clicking it until it shows up. Enjoy operating the busy Market Street station!
(THIS PROJECT IS NOW IN THE VEHICLES STUDIO! Thanks for your support in getting this project added in!) (Thanks to your support, A SEQUEL FOR THIS GAME IS NOW IN THE WORKS! I can't reveal many details now, but I'll update you over the next few days. For now, please enjoy this game, and once again, thank you all for your support, as it really helps! I'll link the sequel here once its released.) "This is Market Street. Next station, Megamall. Thank you for riding the Orange Line." Market Street is a busy station on the Scratch Rail Transit System's Orange Line that is packed with commuters every second of the day. In this game, you'll have to help the passengers get on their way by opening and closing the doors when a train arrives, as well as dispatch the trains when they are ready to depart. It's harder than it sounds, though: can you time your door operation and dispatching perfectly so that all the passengers can board the train without causing unnecessary delays? It's up to you to uphold the efficiency of the Scratch Rail Transit network! Thanks to the user WWWHDHDTUHVTG for the code used to make this project. Enjoy! -UPDATES- 8/19/2023 - Game released. 8/20/2023 - Changes to the backdrop of the station, colors of the train schedule display, and the buttons. Changed the Train Arriving announcement. Changed "Salad Fields" on train schedule display to "Salad Plains". 8/21/2023 - Changes to the looks of the train. Fixed a bug that caused the train schedule display to stop working after a train left the station. 5/29/2024 - First update in a long time! Fixed a misspelling on the "Public Address System" button (Changed from "Public Adress System" to "Public Address System"). Changed the Train Arriving Announcement. 3/18/2025 - WOW. It has been a long time since I have made any changes to this game. But anyways, I've made some tiny changes. A short chime has been added that plays when an announcement is made over the Public Address System. The sound of the platform doors opening has also been changed. 3/19/2025 - Fixed the "door glitch" where the platform doors would glitch into each other. 3/20/2025 - Changed the color of the "yellow line" warning sign in the station from purple to yellow. Changed "Seaside" on the station position sign to "District Park" (this is a reference to something I'm working on right now!). 9/3/2025 - I present to you: the BIGGEST update in the history of this game! Here's what's new: first and foremost, I've completely revamped the gameplay of this simulator for a BRAND NEW CHALLENGE! Instead of announcing that a train is arriving, you'll be the one to dispatch the trains so that they can leave the station! The simulator is even more challenging now: will you be able to dispatch the trains at the right time without causing delays? That's up to you! Next, the train arrival chime has been changed, and a new train departing jingle has been added. The train arrival board now also displays when a train is departing, too. Next, the word "TRACK" has been added to the platform screen door track barriers next to the number "1", clarifying that the number represents "Track 1", not "Line 1", as Scratch Rail Transit lines are named by colors, not numbers. Well then, I hope you enjoy this massive update to the game!
