Samantha: Yes. Piano teacher: That's great! You are going to learn how to play that. Piano teacher: Wow! You really are a natural! Have you ever done anything with music before? Samantha: I write songs. Piano teacher: That’s amazing! Why don’t you write a song and a piano piece to go with it? You can show it to me once you finish. Samantha: Okay that sounds fun! Piano teacher I’m going to go get some water. Why don’t you start packing up? Samantha: Okay! Samantha: Sophia! Sophia: Hi Samantha. Samantha: I haven’t seen you in awhile! Sophia: Yeah I’ve been busy practicing. I have a recital coming up. Samantha: Oh. Sophia: So what have you been up to lately? Samantha: Nothing much. Just piano and school. Sophia: You must have a lot of time to practice piano. Samantha: Yeah I practice at home all the time. Sophia: Well here is a book I recommend. It really helped me. Samantha: Thanks Sophia! What did she say? Lily: That you’re a natural and she is looking forward to your next lesson. Talent show Teacher: Oh Samantha I didn’t realize you were interested in the talent show! Samantha: I wasn’t but now I’m taking piano lessons and would like to participate. Talent show Teacher: That’s great! Emily: Oh hi Samantha! I didn’t realize you wanted to be in the talent show. Talent show teacher: Welcome to our school's first annual talent show! Talent show teacher: First up is Arnold Rivera with his Ventriloquism act! Arnold: Hey everyone! I’m Arnold and he’s Nelson and we're super excited to be here tonight. Nelson: Yeah, I mean, this is the pinnacle of our careers. Arnold: So, what's the deal with airplane food? Nelson: Oh boy, don't even get me started. Arnold: I mean seriously, why is it always so bad? Nelson: I know right? I think they just dump all the leftovers from their kitchen into the airplane food.
