DISCLAIMER(PLEASE READ AFTER THE PROJECT) DISCLAIMER DOES HAVE SPOILERS So I just wanted to make this very quick project to tell you all the story I was planning on using for Sonic Dungeons before I wanted to fully release the game in May. For those of you who don't know, the story is very... very important for me when it comes to anything I do, if there's no story, then there's no reason anyone wants to play my game, no matter how good the game may be coded. Sonic Dungeons was my first real big step in trying to make a game that had a deep story, and I say I succeeded and didn't succeed. On one hand I feel like the story in the final game did a good job at creating a world where Sonic doesn't always win and he has to deal with the reality that his friend has now become a cyborg. On the other hand I feel like the story I used was too quick and that the story I was going to use had way more dynamics and plot twists then the game I put out. Sure the game had plot twists, but none like I would have done if I was able to create the last 2 levels for the game... and a world map... and more cutscenes... and... you get the idea. However, I didn't want to leave this story completely behind, as I still think this story could still have spoke to people, especially in today's world. I wanted this story to help people see that no matter what is going on, no matter what dungeons or challenges you feel like you are stuck in, there is someone who will always be with you can guide you through the dark halls, even if it's too dark for you to see him yet. However, I felt like the old story I wrote in the script wasn't that good to be honest. However, I've gotten better at writing since then, so I just made little adjustments and I found that this story can still speak to people, at least I hope so. So I just wanted to release this story with a hope that someone will read this story and hear that gentle whisper of hope, even if it's not in the form of a video game. Hope you all have a great day!
