Using some shadows, he grabbed Ebony teleported straight into the cave. Nico was already there. He nodded in greeting. “Crow is on his way.” Hunter nodded in return. “Has the Rippler army crossed the Danube?” He shook his head. “Soon. The Shade army already went. They were very well hidden, but I saw a few.” Hunter nodded. Crow appeared. “Hey, sorry I’m late. Snake problem.” Hunter dipped his head. “What’s the plan?”
Chapter 55: We need to cripple the army dramatically,” Crow noted. “I did a small recon before the snake problem and saw the massive size and weaponry.” “No match for even the combined armies I suppose?” Hunter asked. Crow shook his head. Hunter thought a bit. “Most of their weaponry is in the camp, correct?” Nico asked Crow. “Yeah.” “What happens if we destroy the camp. Of course we would never do something so ludicrous…” he trailed off. “But…God forbid but if that ever happened…” Crow continued. “It would massively swing the battle in favor of Petra,” Hunter finished, narrowing his eyes. “Are all those tents made of cloth?” he asked Crow. “Yes,” Crow quickly caught on. “Flammable I dare say.” “Now we would never take advantage of such a thing but if , say, a fire erupted…” Hunter continued, engrossed in the idea. “The weaponry would blow up as well and soldiers might actually have to run,” Nico mused. “But how could anyone get close enough unnoticed?” Hunter pondered. “I’m sure the army would not mind a few animals,” Nico transformed into a fox. Ebony barked, recognizing the fox, and flicked his ear. Nico went back to human form and laughed, scratching the dog behind the ear. Hunter thought a bit. “Where to though?” “The camp is surrounded by rocky outcrops as protection. They can be used to hide. And if manipulated shadows can create a fire.” “It’s a good plan,” Hunter noted, looking at Crow now. He nodded as well. “Let’s do it.”
