For a newborn sea turtle, the beach is a dangerous place... Your mission is to reach the ocean as soon as possible But be careful, as everyone wants to eat you... Instructions: Move with w, steer with a and d. There is no going back, as your instincts attract you to the water with great force. Avoid the crabs, because if one grabs you, you have 5 seconds to escape it (may be shorter if you were grabbed recently). If you don't make it, the crab will eat you. The seagulls should be easier to avoid as you have to dodge their slow-moving shadow, but if one spots you, it's game over... The obstacles and waves won't hurt you in any way, except that they will slow you down quite considerably, so you better avoid them... Sea snakes attack you if you move for too long, so if you see one, STAY STILL If you like this project, maybe you can consider following or suggesting to feature it?
All artwork and code by me. All of the sfx comes from the Scratch audio library, edited either by using the sound effect blocks or in the Built-in sound editor. I got inspired by seeing this journey IRL a few times when I go on vacation and often on TV. I also wouldn't have came up with the idea if it wasn't because of the SDS!
