Hello guys, gays, gals, demigals, demiguys, non-binary pals, idk, whatever you identify as, I’m not writing down all like 110 gender identities, I really don’t care, be whoever you are and I’m proud of you! Anyways, in honor of hitting 200 followers, I decided to host a writing competition! Here’s how it works: Write something about one specific topic which I will share in a minute. This written something can be a novel, a short story, a poem, a script, a pantoum or whatever you want! Submit your pieces of art by November 30th, and link them in the comments on this project. I will judge them and award people in the following categories: “My Personal Faves”, “Most Creative Plot”, “Most inspirational” and “Funniest Story/Writing/Poem/Whatever you’re writing.” In each category there will be three winners, for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Topic: I have chosen, that the topic of this competition is LGBTQ+ Kids and Teens. Your writing can range from any genre, any time period and any situation. I’m leaving y’all a lot of freedom. Rules: - You must be a follower of mine in order to enter. It isn’t that hard, just click that button in the far right upper corner of my profile. This “you must be my follower” rule should make sense, since this competition is bc of my followers and for my followers, and if you don’t understand this rule, I am open for feedback and complaints on my profile. - Use your own imagination and brain!!! Don’t steal other people's work! I think it’s another understandable rule, so yeah. - Also, if something in your story is a heavy topic or something, then please use trigger warnings, especially for like, queerphobia or racism or any sort of discrimination or violence. PRIZES: Unfortunately, I couldn’t find very many prizegivers, and it also seems like a lot of work, so here’s how we’re gonna do it: (This set-up is valid for every category!) 1st place receives a follow from me, gets to choose 50 friends or other scratchers that I have to follow, and gets to choose 50 Projects that I like and fave. 2nd place receives a follow from me, gets to choose 30 friends or other scratchers that I have to follow, and gets to choose 30 Projects that I like and fave. 3rd place receives a follow from me, gets to choose 20 friends or other scratchers that I have to follow, and gets to choose 20 projects that I like and fave. (NOTE: For the people who win 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the “Most Inspirational” Category will also get their stories suggested for “Featured Projects” by me.) Understood everything? Good! This is my entry for the writing competition. An acrostic poem called rainbow, it symbolises that everyone can be a hero, no matter who they are, if they are LGBTQ+ or not. Sorry it's a poem and not a story but it was the best I could do. You are a hero! :D
