Disclaimer: This is not a playable game!! just a concept drawing ------------ Plot: Laveòre, the great tree signaling the end of the world, has burst from the holy soil of Culméa Dora, enveloping the site and lifting it into the heavens. A clock embedded within its hollow seals off the palace from outside intervention, and slowly counts down to Doomsday. As the apocalypse edges closer, every passing tick echoing for miles, the prophesized child is born of silver sand within the ruins of Laméa Indena, the Witch House. She is the daughter of silver sand and the last living Time Witch, the final hope for this dying Earth. ------------ Gameplay: You play as the Daughter, newly brought to life within an abandoned ruin. However, the moment she rises, a dread knell sounds throughout the land. She only has so much time before the world is destroyed. She starts out as a child, and ages as the clock counts down. Her goal is to reach Laveòre and smite the evil resting behind the face of the clock before it awakens to its full world-consuming potential. The game consists of cycles of night and day. Various events and quests can only be done or seen at certain times of the cycle. You are free to explore wherever you wish, (though many locations can only be traversed with the use of certain unlockable abilities), and you must do your best to prepare the Daughter to battle with doomsday before it inevitably arrives. She will also passively gain strength with experience as she ages. To open the way to the Culméa Dora, the Daughter must collect four Cog-Keys by slaying four Sentinels of Doomsday which spawned in the corners of the land, casting shadows of ruin within their respective domains. Sentinels are powerful beasts that will require skill and preparedness to defeat, yet are only a glimpse of what lies within Laveòre's hollow. ------------ Sand: The Daughter's health is represented by the top ampule of the hourglass. Whenever she is hit, some sand trickles down into the lower ampule. Sand stored in the lower ampule is used to cast some spells, and can also be collected by killing enemies. Once all of the sand is gone from the top ampule, she will die. However, the top ampule will begin slowly refilling after not taking damage for a sufficient amount of time. ------------ Chronomancy: Chronomancies are powerful magics which use Time itself as a catalyst. By burning the time left until Doomsday, the Daughter can cast spells as needed: -Doréa (Castable whenever): Causes time to flow very, very quickly. Can be used to speedily heal wounds, or pass the time. -Merréa (Castable only when standing still, but persists for a second after moving): Slows down surroundings, but makes time flow doubly fast. Can be used to increase your window of time to dodge an enemy attack or pass through an obstacle. -Vantaréa (Castable only when standing still): Rewinds surroundings. but makes time flow triply fast. -Fi (Castable whenever): Completely stops time and surroundings. Quickly shrinks the top ampule of your hourglass, lowering your maximum health until a save point is used. Additionally, each weapon has a specific spell associated with it. ------------ Weapons: -Almas Orras (Dual clock-hand swords): Slow short-ranged weapon with high damage that can be held to charge a stronger attack. Its spell is "Aurréa," which uses 6 lower sand to summon a row of damaging clock-hand spikes which persist for several seconds. -Maura Dàle (Clock shield): Very short-range weapon with low damage that can be held to slightly lower taken damage. Its spell is "Cueréa," which uses 6 lower sand, and 1 more per second it is held, to create a sandy barrier in front of the Daughter which fully blocks attacks. If Cueréa is used right as an attack hits, it becomes "Parréa", dealing heavy damage to the offending enemy and restoring 6 lower sand. -Candena Direlogio (Chain whip): Medium damage mid-range weapon that can be held to spin the chain, though the damage lowers with each revolution. Its spell is "Silréa," which uses 6 lower sand to lash the whip forward, stunning the first enemy it hits. It pulls light enemies towards the player, and pulls the player towards heavy enemies. -Méalupa (Mechanical rifle): Long-range high-damage slow weapon with a fast projectile, and can be held to aim. Its spell is "Fuorréa," which uses 6 sand to fire a very high-damage piercing clock-hand bolt which explodes when it hits ground or walls, and can be held to aim. -Palo Dilaméa (Witch staff): Mid-range medium-speed very high-damage weapon which burns 10 seconds of time whenever it is used. Its spell is "Sanaréa," which uses 10 sand to create a bubble which heals you without using up time, and persists for 60 seconds. Weapons may be switched whenever. ------------ Enemies are mostly made up of clockwork automatons, wild beasts, and witch-hunters
