He tossed his hair back, and his eyes flashed with challenge. "Yeah?" Lucer regarded him and the three who had joined him. "You cheat like a fox, Shade Prince." "I do?" Hunter replied. "Strange, I do not recall you telling me to come out alone. And shall we ignore the small fact that you are fighting against the Shade army though you yourself are a Shade? Or are we forgetting that detail?" Lucer laughed. "I am the Shade King, Prince. Right now you are the traitor." "You are a false Shade King Lucer. I am the rightful Shade Prince." Hunter growled. "Very well Hunter. Very well. Let us fight it out." Hunter did not respond. He simply brought out his dagger. And the two leapt at each other while Crow and Nico kept the spirits at bay. A fierce fight that both armies watched. The winner would determine the morale of both armies. And both Hunter and Lucer knew this. As did Sulla, obviously, since he sent a water attack at Hunter, which was deflected and countered by Petra. But the main focus was on Hunter and Lucer as they dueled. Hunter was quick and agile, while Lucer was strong and powerful. They traded blows, neither one able to gain an advantage. Yet Hunter made a miscalculation. He let Lucer’s shadows intrude too far, and they pummeled him straight into the air. Nearly invading his body, which was already weakened. The only thing that saved him was the fact that Nico grasped the shadows and reigned them under his control. But he fell to the ground hard. Hunter was now at a disadvantage. With any good strike from Lucer at the weakened Shade Prince, he was done for. And indeed Lucer now stood over him, his sword gleaming. "All hail the Shade King!" he yelled in his face. Hunter spat in his face. "Never, COWARD." Lucer raised his sword, ready to strike the final blow. But before he could, Hunter summoned all his strength and lunged forward, driving his dagger into Lucer's heart. Lucer gasped and staggered back, his sword falling from his hand. He looked down at the dagger protruding from his chest, then back up at Hunter with wide eyes. "You...you..." he gasped. "I told you," Hunter said. "Never." Lucer collapsed to the ground, dead.
Lucer and Hunter fight it out, but in a close call Hunter calls on his power and kills Lucer when it matters.
